Photoshop CC: Visual QuickStart Guide (2015 release)

I bought this because my professor recommended everyone to get it but I felt like the only one who actually did and I never needed it for that class or any other that I used Photoshop in (during my time at PSU) because the professors always gave out exact instructions and if I needed help YouTube had plenty of tutorials.

I bought this as a required text book for a community college class I took on Photoshop. The class was a requirement for me, but I could've learned as much with just the book, without spending a few hundred dollars on the class. If you just want to learn to use Photoshop, you can do it with just the book, and maybe a few YouTube videos. No classes needed.

I purchased the Kindle edition, so it is convenient to open Photoshop CC on the desktop and step through features in the Kindle. I've read only a small part of this book and thus far have found complete and easy to understand descriptions for all features that I've used in Photoshop. I recommend this book for photographers currently using Light Room CC looking to take the next step into Photoshop CC.

A very clear and concise presentation of Photoshop's features. The book has a thorough table of contents and an extensive index so it's easy to find the information you're looking for. Every time Adobe updates Photoshop, I buy a new copy of this book. A must-have reference.

I need this as the textbook for a class I'm taking this semester. Much better and less expensive on the Kindle where I can annotate and highlight, lookup words in the dictionary, set bookmarks, copy material with the citation included, and always to back to where I stopped reading or any bookmark or page number.

I have the same version of this book for Illustrator, so I knew what to expect. This book is a little complicated for beginners in Photoshop, but once you have a grasp of the basics, this is a great reference.

I bought his book to use in my Photoshop class for college. It is very detailed for beginners and has step by step lessons.

Informative with plenty of examples and the plus is that the author provides the picture files so you can follow along and learn.

Used this series of books over the years when I update my Photoshop. They are written in an 'receipe' style that makes it easy to use. This is the first time I got a Kindle version.

Nicely layed out, quality photos, very good explanation of steps and information. However, after less than 1 weeks use, the cover binding let go and the book split, so that the pages are starting to fall out ... not happy with this! I have decided to send this book back for a replacement.Great news, I received my new book 2 days after I contacted Amazon about the problem ... what great service!My new book seems to be in perfect condition, and I am happily using it as my go-to-reference for the Photoshop CC course I am taking. This is a great book for quick information and to get you started learning the main features of Photoshop, highly recommended.
