My original programmable controller came from mfgr., OJ Electronics. After 10 years of flawless performance, the previous unit finally quit. This delicate instrument impressed me so I chose to replace with The same model.The new controller arrived and the electrician said there was a ground fault. I turned to the manufacturer and expressed my dismay. Right away, Peter and Stuart issued a call tag for my controller and it was returned to OJ. Electronics. When they received the unit they replaced and returned it to me immediately. My new controller is installed and performing as expected.Peter and Stuart delivered 5 star results by simply taking responsibility for their product and customer.

A residential thermostat should last a minimum of 20 years. This model lasted 4 years. The reason I purchased another one is I did not want to replace the temperature sensor and I decided, perhaps foolishly, that I would give this model another chance. The other brands I considered used sensors with different temperature characteristics which would have resulted in inaccurate readings. As far as I could tell, OJ Microline provides no warranty on this device. I would definitely not purchase this thermostat for a new system given this company does not stand by their product.

I got this thermostat as part of an ADU. It destroyed our heating bills. The only way to actual stop it from being destructive was to turn it off at the breaker level.It is not actually programmable. It can be turned up or down but not off.

Exactly what I was looking for, a quality thermostat at a good price. My tiler had suggested that I install a backup floor sensor as it could save the hassle of lifting tiles at a later stage so I was glad to come across this option which already included two floor sensors, saved me buying another. Very easy to install and the programming is a lot simpler than my other bathroom's thermostat, system is working well.
