I was sceptical when buying this shoe bench, mainly because I was thinking, ‘You get what you pay for,’ and at around £45 I was thinking it was not going to be good quality. However, I have to say I’m pleasantly surprised at the quality of this product. Very sturdy and easy to put together (relative to your patience). It’s a very good quality type of fake wood - colour may not be to everyone’s taste but it sits in our hallway and looks fine. Well worth the money.

Easy enough to put together. Looks nice and smart, and really sturdy for the price. Is also flat enough on top to use as a storage table too. The back panel is also covered with the wood both sides so could be used as a coffee table etc.

You can spend hundreds of pounds on a shoe bench, and for the price, this is really good. The wood colour wasn't quite what we were looking for, but in the flesh, it's quite nice. The instructions were ok but not amazing like some reviewers are making out. The order of assembly meant there were some awkward moments with the half-finished item vulnerable to breakage at times (often the case with flat-packed pieces of furniture). If you are extra careful that won't happen. The lid was a bit troublesome, we ended up going off-instructions (separating the hinge) and using some of our own screws. All fine in the end, albeit with some sideways movement when sat on the finished article. I accept this for the price though and it wouldn't put me off trying other Vasagle furniture. The product was really well packed with no scratches or marks, and I liked that it came with extra screws/stickers and that the pieces were labelled. A small screwdriver tool is included, so you don't need to find one. It arrived really quickly too, well done to the seller for using DPD. The dimensions given in the product description are accurate when the lid is closed, but because of the way the lid opens, you might need a bit more room at the back. Ours is placed slightly away from the front of a radiator so it's not a problem, and if it's pushed up against a skirting board, you'll have a bit of room to play with anyway. One reviewer felt the space for shoes was a little small. Our largest shoes are size UK 8 and they fit well but any larger and they might stick out a bit. Now that we've set it up and used it a bit, the most notable issue is that the lid doesn't stay open, it just falls if you don't hold it. Adjusting the hinges hasn't made any difference to that. Otherwise, it's fine. It's comfortable to sit on, looks good, and is decent for the money. If you don't want to spend too much on a shoe bench and the size is appropriate for your needs/space, then go for this one.

Very easy to assemble. Really good quality and very sturdy. Good value for the money. A very useful piece of furniture. Comfortable to sit on when changing shoes. Really easy to clean.

Arrived promptly and well packaged. Was easy for one person to put together about 45 minutes. Lovely piece of furniture. Well made and sturdy. Holds lots of footwear and the function of lidded top means all that hallway 'stuff' that makes a place untidy, can be hidden away! Holds two people's weight sitting whilst putting on shoes. Was reasonably priced for the quality.

For the price £33.99 this is excellent, easy to put together except the backboard as there were no pre drilled holes but otherwise very straightforward. It fits a limited amount of shoes but I wanted it to house the usual pile of slippers and crocs that live at the bottom of the stairs so good for that, the top compartment fits about 4 pairs of slippers also and its sturdy enough to sit on

Fantástico!! Buen precio en oferta flash, bonito, práctico y fácil de montar (impecables las instrucciones y trae incluso pegatinas para tapar las cabezas de los tornillos y tornillos extra). Lo único que podía mejorar son las bisagras que no son desmontables y que no se queda la tapa abierta, hay que sujetarla. En conjunto un 10!!!

Questo mobililuccio è super comodo e utile. Il montaggio è facilissimo, a prova di bambino, e si fa in 5 minuti. È anche bello esteticamente, senza difetti o altro. Anzi, mi aspettavo qualche intoppo per via della spedizione, invece è perfetto. Le definizioni sono perfette, la qualità ottima e la resistenza notevole.
