I purchased these switches without reading the reviews. I just read a few to see what others were saying about this product. I agree, it's a nice looking switch. The threads are nice and smooth on the switch body and nut. Was surprised it came with o rings for mounting. The first one i pulled out of the packet the detent failed to work properly. But within a few clicks of the button it started working. I tried a second one, it worked first try. Some people say they had issues with the spade connections and the ability to solder to them. I had no issues. I used the first switch i pulled from the bag, it appears to be working flawlessly.

So I'm using this on my motorcycle and I went to Soldier the wires on the terminal and the connector was bad so I did another one same thing it was bad so I soldered the terminals and I tested before I solder the wires and turns out that these buttons cannot handle the heat of a soldering iron the instant you solder the terminals the buttons pop they're done so note but they are very sturdy I tried taking one apart they're very strong

I was using this to repair a broken switch on a light. I’m not very skilled with electrical work, but I was able to solder the wires onto it and it is working perfectly! The button clicks into the “on” position, it does not need to be held.

I installed all of them and only 3 out of 5 worked.
