Much sturdier than the ones sold by Home Depot!
After becoming totally frustrated with the flimsy garden staples sold at Home Depot, which are totally worthless, I ordered two boxes of these garden staples. I am very pleased with them and so I just ordered three more boxes. I am using them to install heavy non-woven landscape fabric around a French drain. The junk sold at Home Depot won't even pierce one layer of the fabric. These go right through two layers without bending, making for a clean tight seam. Highly recommended!

Great Value
I bought these landscape stakes to secure some landscape fabric for a garden pathway. These stakes are substantial, and sturdy. They do not bend like so many other brands do. I used a rubber mallet to pound them into the ground. My only complaint, is that they leave your hands with a black, greasy film, but that wasn't much a problem because I wore gloves. This was the best price of garden stakes that I found and I will happily deal with a little grease to save money. Will definitely buy again.

These are great!
I love these garden stakes.i have used a lot of different stakes in my vegetable garden and I wasn’t sure if these would work but they are great. They hold down my vegetable cages and drip irrigation. They are small enough to fit anywhere but they are sturdy. I love them and highly recommend.

Don’t buy
These are horrid! I thought they would be regular garden stakes. They are not. Very thick metal covered in graphite. Dirty to work with. Rust easily. Hard to insert into the ground. Hard to remove. Not good quality at all.

Very sturdy, but prepare to get your hands dirty.
They are sturdier than other types, which is comforting (for example, would take hammering better). They come with a coating of black grease (to prevent rusting maybe?) - so prepare to wash your hands afterwards.

Very strong metal. Good value.
I have used literally tens of thousands of landscaping staples in the last few years. For the price, these are the best I’ve used. Very strong. When you nail them into a buried rock, they don’t bend which is nice.

Perfect
Exactly what I needed to hold 1/4" drip-line in place. The staple is much sturdier than normal (11Gauge) and doesn't bend when you hit a rock. -Staples for 1/2" trunk-line, put in by landscaper, are flimsy and bend very easily.

Solid and just what I wanted!
Doing yard work and needed more staples/pins to keep the weed block fabric in place while I work. These are very sturdy and perfect. Easy to insert.

Does the job well
The first time I bought these it was in error - I thought they would be 6 inch pegs like I have always used in the past. I bought them because they looked better value for money, that is the price for 100 pegs, without looking at the specification too carefully. However, when I started using them for pinning down weed fabric, it became apparent that they do the job pretty much as well as 6 inch pegs. I don't think that the extra 2 inches of the longer pegs make the fabric much more secure - if the ground is solid enough, a 4 inch peg does the job pretty well. If the ground is too soft, for example if it is freshly dug, then both the 4 and the 6 inch pegs will struggle to hold down the fabric securely. Also (as other reviewers have noted), you have more chance of getting the peg into stony ground - very much a consideration round here!

Best staples on the market and brilliant price
Found it hard to find decent 4” staples.Brilliant for think clay soils that don’t need the longer 6” and especially if there is a lot of stones, shorter staple means less chance of hitting a stone. They are thinker than most brands so very robust and don’t bend as easy. They legs also don’t slit in opposite directions as other, thinner products.

Perfect
I needed some netting pins to hold down some netting, and these are ideal.6” are overkill for what I needed so these were perfect. They are strong and sturdy and easy to knock into the ground with a rubber mallet. They are wide enough that I could bunch up the netting at the corners and hold that down which means I don’t have to cut the extra netting off, so I can use it again in future. Can pull them out easily without damaging them and then move them around as needed, so they will be reusable.Great item will be handy for many things including pinning down our fishing umbrellas etc.

Only rcd a QTY of 50
Nothing at all wrong with the product other than a carbon stain appears on your hands when you hold and put them in. My main gripe as a prime customer is that I only counted out a QTY of 50 and there should have been 100 in the pack.

Solid but greasy
Fantastic ground pegs that are strong and will not easily bend when pushed into the ground.Covered in a grease assume to stop them rusting, this leaves a residue but can be cleaned off if you want. Not a problem for me I stuck them in and ran some twine upto the top of the fence, these have still stayed firm in the ground even with plants tugging on the twine as they grow.
