Great for tactical carbines. Only issue is the eye relief is a little non intuitive, takes a little time to get used to it. But worth taking the time. Its durable, the tension adjustment stays where you set it, its a crisp image, and super light low profile accessory.

I have the Trijicon MRO on a few CQB firearms. They function very well for my home defense and close protection needed. However at 1X as the distance grows it's harder to get my dot to be as precise. Eyes and skills both go stale in time. With this 3X the height is perfect for the MRO. It works better than the other two big brands with expensive but good 3X. But not only is the alignment perfect, and you can raise and lower the 3X to fit other red dots. Final point that provided 5 stars is the ability to sharpen the point by "replacing" eye deficiency with +/- just like your glasses. Weight is minimal. Install is rock solid. It turned my SIG Rattler 300 BLK into precision weapon for longer distances than I require. Highly recommended for SBR type weapons. For full size rifle get a 1-8 scope.

Does not line up with MRO. Useless unless you dont mind a smear instead of a dot. No adjustment. Had to pay $ 27. to return. Update- Got full refund and shipping costs.

Quality, and made in the USA

I’ve seen a few complaints about this product I don’t think are well founded and probably written by someone with little to no experience with a magnifier. Eye relief: compared to other magnifiers it’s actually quite good especially if you use the cantilever function on the mount to move it back towards your eye. The eye relief does not compare to a quality scope, but I know of no magnifier that does and I’ve tried several. Compared to other magnifiers it’s very lightweight with clear glass and the flip mount and lockup mechanism is excellent. Some have complained about seeing a smudge or smear when looking through the magnifier. This is caused by either your red dot (depending on brand), or your eyes if you have an astigmatism. Many red dots on the market do not actually project a crisp dot. This becomes much more apparent when you magnify the dot. As someone who has an astigmatism, I do not see a clear dot with many red dots especially without corrected vision. Some brands are better and some are worse but it’s subjective to each individual’s eye and generally not caused by the magnifier. Two criticisms I think are valid: First, Yes it’s made in China. It’s a quality magnifier with a quality mount, but don’t buy it if that bothers you. Second, if you plan to run backup sights the magnifier will interfere with many on the market including magpul mbus (plastic version) and anything similar in size. However, I can confirm it works with magpul mbus pro (metal version). The magnifier just barely clears the mbus pro when folded in position behind the red dot, but it does clear and flips back and forth without issues. I have no experience with other sights but I’m sure there are other low profile sights that would work as well. Bottom line: This is not a replacement for a quality scope, but no magnifier is. However, if you want to stretch out your red dot it’s an excellent magnifier. I’ve used it behind an MRO HD and it makes longer shots significantly easier. If you plan to run backup sights then you might be stuck with mbus pros or similar low profile sights which could add to the cost of your setup so take that into consideration.
