Yes I would recommend this product to anyone who needs Flexofenodine Hydrochloride non-drowsy. tablets. Flexofenodine is the only antihistamine that does not cross the blood brain barrier: hence it does not produce any kind of drowsiness. Actually Flexofenodine was at one time a prescription drug made in the US by the name of Allegra. The original manufacture's patent run out and so others began to produce this product containing the exact chemical formula, then this drug become an over the counter drug. However, many people have said the generic versions are not effective: don't seem to last as long. Well for me, I have found none of the various generic plus the original Allegra lasted a full 24 hours. For me, Kirkland brand last as long as any brand including the original Allegra. It last at least 12 hours and at bed time I take a 25 mg of otc benadryl which helps extend Flexofenodine throughout the night. After a few dosages of Kirkland supplemented with night time benadryl, I find the flexdofenodine tends to build up in the body and have no allergies and I sleep well at night with no drowsiness during the day. My allergies are quit bad, some people may get a full 24 hour relief from Fleoxfenadine. The only complaint I have about all of the generic versions of fleoxfenadine is the price is far too expensive for this type of product. I'm thinking the reason for this is that most manufactures want to look, at least in price, like the original Allegra; and many people fall into this pricing trap. I chose Kirkland Fexofenadine because it is exactly the same chemical composition as all Fexofenadine brands including Allegra. I understand it's manufactured in Israel, but the difference in price takes a lot of patriotism out of. me. In my opinion, the US drug manufacturing industry keeps ripping the public off even after their patents run out and even more so when it becomes an over-the-counter (otc) product. While it is purported to relieve allergy symptoms quickly, I found that I needed to take it for a few consecutive days to achieve maximum effectiveness. As promised, It never made me drowsy. I have tried other allergy medicines like Claritin, but they quit working after a few days. This works quite well, but there are a few drawbacks. As the drug facts clearly state, It is not to be taken with citrus juices. While some people may be OK with this restriction, it was very inconvenient for me. Additionally, I noticed a slight increase in my heart rate after taking this medication for a month. While this medicine is much easier on the heart than others, Benedryl, for example, any allergy medicine poses a potential risk to your heart. I recommend regular monitoring of your blood pressure and pulse while taking this medicine. Overall, I give it 4 stars because it is effective and relatively inexpensive. If neither citrus juice restriction nor hypertension are a problem for you, Aller-Fex is definitely worth a try.

I feel this product is just as good as Brand Name Allegra products. I have pretty bad allergies - enough so to receive immunotherapy and this product keeps my allergies at bay. While also not making me drowsy or any other side effects. Plus the price is right. I would purchase this product again.

The name brand of this antihistamine is quite a bit more expensive, so I was pleased to find a generic that is made in the USA that is much cheaper. For me, this antihistamine works better than other types of antihistamines available. However, after receiving this product I found that my bottle of Aller-Flex was made in Israel. That being discovered upsets me only because it wasn't accurately revealed in the description as it says "Made in USA". I have no problem with products made in Israel.

I am very disappointed. I have been specifically buying this product instead of the name brand Allegra because Allegra contains aluminum and this product "doesn't." Sadly I trusted the web description and all of the past bottles never had this ingredient. I happened to look one day to discover that they started putting 3 different aluminums in this product (of course at the very end of the bottle.) The product works, but why add aluminum now? Switching.
