Great for guitar beginners & kids guitar learning and practice

Great book but unlike book 1, there's no DVD. I'm guessing the book just hasn't been updated to include that yet and I didn't see that other guitar books for kids had one like the one we had in book 1 either. However, the DVD in book 1 really helped my child so he could play along with a "professional" to practice. I would recommend the book though because there's colorful pages and simple songs that seem to appeal to young children.

It's a clear book, easy to understand, visually stimulating for kids and worth the investment. There's a cd included. Some songs are just too fast and your kid might not be able to keep up the pace when playing along but it's still worth it.

Great little book for learning guitar BUT don't buy from Amazon as book arrived torn, crumpled and tattered due to inappropriate packaging and to return to the U.S.I have to pay postage costs and risk the same bad packaging again.

My youngest son needed this for his guitar lessons and it's so nice to be able to just find it and get it shipped in 2 days direct to your door instead of having to search and search for something like this. Thanks Amazon!!

As with Book 1, we are very pleased. It goes over each step with written text and illustrations of finger placement. Simple enough to be accomplished, yet progresses enough to give the child a feeling of pride.Excellent series.

This book is a great continuation of the first book, it is incredibly good for younger students and they have a good variety of children's songs.

It was bought as a gift for my 6 yr old niece. Looks like a nice system. I bought them all.

My 9hr old son likes it a lot. He enjoyed book 1 and finds this an excellent progression as ... in his words ... "it introduces more notes quicker".

This book was for my daughter who has some guitar lessons. The book took 10 days to arrive which I thought was sluggish. However, it does what it does and I have no complaints.

Got this for my daughter to study the guitar in school. the lessons are nicely graded and don't overstretch the learner. Very child friendly structure.
