Fluke C800 Polypropylene Hard Meter and Accessory Carrying Case, 15" Width x 9" Height x 4-1/2" Depth

I wanted a Fluke branded case for my meter, but the quality of this item is very poor. The plastic used is VERY slick, so the case slides around at the slightest force. The 'door' inside doesn't open or close. so just flops around when the case is open.I'm really surprised Fluke puts their logo on this junk. I regret purchasing. I thought I would 'get used to it' and waited around until the return window was passed. The longer I own it, the more I hate it.

The case itself is pretty good, standard molded plastic. Where I failed was not knowing how the inside of the case was setup. They say this and that but there is no picture showing you the layout of the open case. I thought it was more open but that is not so. I wanted to use this to hold three amp probes for my scope meter and they do fit but barely. Not the right case but it will work.Find some pictures and make sure it is right before you buy.

Did not work for my purposes, just not b enough. Would probably be more than adequate for the average meter-user, as the compartments are smartly designed and laid out well. Sturdy and good-looking case. Realize that you’re paying for the name.

I bought it to have my meter safe in a large tool chest this case has cheap latches that after one use feel like they are not secure at all i expect it to last 6 months of once a week use, meaning open it and close it once in a week i give it 6 months at best if im lucky.

Nice hard case holds better well and lots of room for multiple test leads & instruction book.

Same as original when I purchased my FLUKE 179 meter.
