Can this be used for pools

Yes, SPECTRALOCK 1 is suitable for wet and submerged areas including Swimming Pools (salt water and chlorinated), fountains, spas, and shower areas. See datasheet (DS-36589) for more information.

How much does a gallon pail weigh?

I'm not really sure about the weight but I would say less than 10 lb when full.

Which color is plain white? And is the bright white too bright?

I would refer to the SpectraLock Color Chart to review the color. Bright White is the only white color option available in the product line.

How long do you have to wait for it to dry to use shower again?

For ANY area that will later receive intermittent water exposure, allow area to cure a minimum of 24 hours at 70°F (21°C) & 50% RH.  Protect finished surface from traffic for at least 24 hours at 70°F (21°C).  Do not expose grout to acid cleaners for 14 days.  Allow grout to cure for 14 days at 70°F (21°C) prior to use in submerged applications or steam rooms. See LATICRETE Technical Data Sheet 192 for more information on grouting of ceramic tile in submerged installations.
