Melissa & Doug Sunny Patch Flex Octopus Folding Beach Chair for Kids

I bought this cute chair for my grandson who is 18 months, and he loves it. I think it's nice that the back legs lock, so he doesn't end up pinching his fingers as he drags it from room to room. Like I said he loves this chair. The cup holder is a little small but at least it's big enough for the smaller sippy cup that he has. Funny thing is, although he hasn't learned how to put his toys away yet, he always makes sure he puts his sippy cup back in that cup holder without anyone telling him to do so.

My husband and I bought the Melissa & Doug Butterfly chair for our granddaughter a while back. She is now 4 and still uses it all the time. She loves it ... and so does our 18 month old grandson. They actually have a tug-of-war over the darn thing. So we bought this Octopus Chair for our grandson and peace reigns once again in our household. It is so nice to be able to put this away and bring it out when he comes to visit. If it is as durable as the butterfly chair then we will have it around for several years.

I had bought an identical chair at a rummage sale. I gave it to my grandson because I figured it would withstand the wear and tear a 2-3 year-old would do to it. My son-in-law accidently leaned on it and broke it. My grandson was upset because he got it from grammy. I couldn't bear that so I went right to Amazon and found this replacement. Happy days at their house again!

The chairs are great and the kids love it. 2yo and 4yo both enjoy having these to sit on, have their drinks in, it is great. They do tip, there isn’t anything extra safe or cool feature wise, they have a cute design and matching bag. The kids version at grocery stores are $8 but no octopus face to sit on.One star docked because of the mysterious dots on the bag for one of the chair bags ... ew

Even though this is a "beach chair", my 3-year old granddaughter loves to use it in the house. She especially likes the cup holder to hold her drink or other treasures. It is easy to fold and carry, and I know it will get used often!!

I love how this chair locks for safety and it’s low profile is great for our 12mos old safe for her to get in and out of chair on her own with ease

We like the chair however the cup holder is way too small. We have no cups that fit in it. Very annoying for my son as he has no where to put his cup.

I like the the short size. My grandson is just a year old but with a little help was able to get into his chair. I think he will still be able to use when he is three or four. The fabric and the frame seem sturdy. His drink tumbler stayed securely in the holder.
