Easy to use
The color of this product is beautiful. I have dark brown hair and this gives me perfect blonde highlights. The longer you leave it on the lighter the hair gets. I always leave it on for the max time. Super easy to use, my husband does my hair for me. Make sure u pull the strands all the way through the cap so your hair doesn't look blotchy. The quality of this product is better than any I've ever used. I use to buy this in store but now you can only get it online from Amazon! The texture isn't gritty and its easier to mix than you may think. Will always buy this brand and product. Make sure to follow the directions on the box and you will habe no problem. Just remember to allow yourself up to 2 hours. This is from start to finish. It does take time to get the hair pulled through the cap. I use every other hoke. Covers gray too which is a major plus for me!

Surprisingly great results!
I was a little nervous as I had recently dyed my hair and attempted highlights and the results were not great (orangey red, etc). FYI I have dark ash blond hair, very fine texture.I did the cap - once you get the hang of it, it’s easy. Just insert the hook through hole in upward direction with hook facing out. Start on top and go down is best to avoid rebooking hair already pulled through. In the back I just did my best guess and used a mirror to see where I had blank spots. Then I left it on for 20 minutes. AdmittedlyI got a bit freaked out and rushed to wash it out - but honestly it could have stayed on another 5 perhaps. But even then - the color isn’t orange and brassy. Im still going to do a blue toning gloss in a day or so, but I think if I left them on a bit longer it would have been fine. Hair feels soft and not damaged (I did do an Olaplex treatment prior - definitely a must when highlighting hair). Overall very pleased!!

Great color
Perfect for what I was looking for! The cap was difficult to remove and hair was super tangled after but with some conditioner and comb it ended well. lol

Great results!
I love the results I got from this highlighting kit! I was nervous to try it on my dyed reddish brown hair, but gave it a whirl anyway and I’m so glad I did. The only reason why I didn’t give it five stars was because it’s hard to do yourself. I was afraid it would turn up brassy orange but I got exactly the look I wanted with nice strawberry blonde highlights. I could have went lighter, even but decided to rinse it out before it lightened it too much. Would definitely recommend and use this product again. I used the Carmel blonde box. Before and after pictures posted.

Perfect for Virgin Dark Brown hair!
I love this kit! I used it on my dark brown virgin hair and it def gave me caramel highlights! So it does what it says. Do not buy this kit if you have black box dyed hair or you’ll end up w red/orange hair and it will not look pretty. Only complaint I have is that the highlights are kind of inconsistent but that’s user error, not anything wrong w the product itself. The hardest part was pulling my hair through the cap and trying not to puncture any holes without having any hair through because I didn’t want any bleach bleeding through them and giving me a leopard bleach job. I do not recommend just slapping the bleach on the cap either. It’s tedious, but best method is to section off each part, and use your gloved fingers to apply the bleach. Start from the mid shaft, and ends then gradually move up to the roots. If you got that down, then it’s easy from there! I will definitely buy this kit again in the future.

Happy with decent result
First time to try DIY highlighting at home. Decent results because I wasn’t too picky. I was ready to run to my neighborhood salon if it ended up worse than this. This is acceptable result though there is no way I could have done this by myself. Had to rope the hubby to pull the hair for me because I wouldn’t be able to see which holes to poke and pull from esp towards the back of scalp. Took 2hrs for everything. Had to just poke all the holes in the cap before putting it on because it was a challenge to poke thru 2 pcs of plastic while trying not to hurt my scalp. This was every other round holes on the cap guide. Other cons: since I have thick but fine hair, it looks like I split/broke/pulled a lot of hair. So much hair fall when I showered. Also hair did not feel conditioned or smooth (in fact it felt very dry and brittle) even after that toner rinse. Unlike when you use conditioner in other color dye kits, it did not feel hydrated, soft, conditioned at all. Will probably buy another silicon highlighting cap next time.
