Great bang for buck
This is my second purchase of the HD-100A. I built a livestream system for a medium sized church and used the excellent but more expensive Marshall POV cameras. The church I serve now is much smaller, with a proportionally smaller budget so when I went to build the livestream system I was much more mindful if cost. I first tried one of the inexpensive Mifose cameras but was very disappointed in the image. After some study I replaced it with the Aida HD-100A. Honestly, it's not the image that Marshall produces but it darn close at nearly half the cost. If you have a small church or other venue you can do a whole lot worse than the Aida. Paired up with an ATEM Mini Pro by Blackmagic you can put together a pro-level production for pennies on the dollar.

Great value
I used this as a still shot and I use a ptz. The 2 work well and I am very pleased.

Perfect for what we use it for
We setup this camera at our church to display the Baptistry area on the main-screen of our sanctuary. The quality of this little camera is amazing.

Perfect for live stream and zoom calls
I teach guitar for a living and the pandemic forced me online. I found the quality of typical webcams lacking, plus I required multiple cameras for switching views. The Black Magic ATEM mini provided the switching (and takes HDMI), and 3 AIDA HD-100A cameras (with various lenses) provide excellent image quality. In addition to web cams, I experimented with a DSLR and a Gopro 7 Black. The AIDA cameras gave image quality that was as good or better than anything else, but the form factor and ease of use put all the others to shame. I've had these cameras running 10-12 hours a day, 7 days a week, for over 6 months now without a glitch. Highly recommended.

Burned out within first week of use due to major design flaw
The designers of this camera made a decision to provide an awkward octopus cable that connects to the back of the camera, which contains an inline on-screen controller (OSD) with a mini-joystick, which then branches out into a 3.5mm audio jack, an RS-485 terminal jack, and a standard size female 12V power jack. The argument for such a cable is that the camera is physically too small to house each of these connectors; makes sense, right? In practice, however, the cable is unwieldy and has the following FATAL FLAW: You will INSTANTLY DESTROY the camera (as I did) by touching the 12V power line to the audio jack. Both the power jack and the audio jack are roughly the same size, and fall right next to each other in the jumbly octopus cable. If you are installing this in a small, hard to reach place (which is probably why you bought it in the first place...), you will need to actively ensure that this highly likely accident never happens, or you can watch your $300 sprout cartoon wings and fly out the window-- and you'll be left with no way to record it.

Nice mini camera for live streaming
I'm a live streamer and I bought one of these to compare against a gopro hero 8. The application is for some chapels which needed to be low profile, discrete, and super easy. Here is why I ended up returning the gopro and bought 3 more of these: 1. No default On Screen Display. Plug in the camera and it has clean HDMI. No forced menus to fiddle with. Plug and Play! 2. The on default camera lens lets me mount 2-3 feet away for nice face frame. Has some fish eye around parameter but additional lenses are available. 3. Camara has compensated nicely in a variety of lighting conditions. 4. More lighting and camera control and settings via the included in line control. 5. I've run the camera over 48 hours straight side by side with gopro. Gopro reset setting multiple times but Aida rocked no issue. For live streaming I needed a super dependable camera. 6. Contacted manufacturer and they responded and interacted with me on a few questions. Only concern is main connector is a 12 pin connector which must be aligned perfectly or the pins will break on insert. I don't think the pins will be an easy DIY repair. UPDATED NOV 2024 (4 years usage): I ended up buying 4 of these units for different church locations. They get set up and used every Sunday and then taken down and stored until the next week. Over 4 years this is over 200 times for each camera by multiple people. We always leave the rose connector in place on the camera and just connect the HDMI, Power and Audio. Only 1 eventually failed causing some color issues that I isolated to the camera itself (not the connectors). I just bought a replacement. Overall we are very happy with these little cameras. They work great for our church live streaming week after week. UPDATE JAN 2026. These units are still going strong. This is about 250 uses (remove/reinstall each week) per camera at this point. My biggest worry is that the HDMI port is going to loosen after all of these re-connects. But that has not been a problem. We get a little bit of a fish eye on the lense, but not enough to worry about.

Excelente cámara sobretodo para los que hacemos producción en vivo, dado que se puede manejar a distintas resoluciones ya sea en progresivo o en entrelazado, además que puedes modificar temperatura definición etc
