RECOMMENDED FOR INFANT ECZEMA
I wish I could make time to blog about the wonderful experience we have had using this product on our baby's eczema. It is the ONLY product we could find that worked for our infant's skin. It is moisturizing, helps with itching, and lasts longer than other products we tried. We tried other California Baby products and other calendula moisturizing creams (all too oily). This one is light, effective, gentle, lasts long (you only need to apply a little to the effected area or else use on whole body sparingly). The smell is gentle, hardly noticeable if at all. One important thing that we did to ensure NATURAL treatment to out baby's skin was that this calendula calming cream was paired with daily Aveeno Oatmeal bath soaks (2-3 times per day for 5-10 minutes). This is the same two steps I took with my first child who also had eczema (less severe than this baby; and we used Aveeno oatmeal cream for the first baby). THis California Baby calming cream with calendula is the right recipe for moisturizing your baby's skin. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND using it along with the Aveeno Oatmeal baths for all infant eczema and never apply steroids! Keep your baby fresh and the skin will heal itself.

Lasts a long time and gentle on new born
I have purchased this cream twice since 2020. My 4 month old developed eczema and this cream helped a lot! I also went off of dairy, and the eczema hasn't returned. Now I use the cream for my own eczema outbreaks and for rubbing on my children before/after outdoor play in cold weather. The scent is a strong lavender that fades quickly. There is NO sting or burn, just moisture (no grease!).

Great for baby's skin, just not enoug for the price...
This stuff is a skin saver....My baby boy has super sensitive skin that even when the doctor recommended aveeno baby for his eczema he had a reaction to it. He got an allergic reaction at around 3 months and it was bright red patches all over his legs and face! : (I searched all over the internet for natural products since they prescribed him a steroid gel which I was not happy putting on his face. I found this helped soothe his eczema, along with 3x daily treatments of Coconut oil all over his body, especially after a bath. That was a little more expensive and ran out much faster than my Coconut oil that I bought at Trader Joes for only $7.The only reason I gave this product 4 stars was the price seemed a little too much for the amount you get and it ran out fast even though I loved using it on his skin. Now his skin glows, but once in a while he has a reaction, but nothing that the coconut oil cannot handle which is still worth every penny in my opion!

helps some rashes
Pleasant light scent. Helps to heal rash on baby's hands and forearms (from acidic foods), drool rash on thighs and belly, chapped cheeks, as well as eczema spots all over. It didn't help a pacifier/drool rash around the mouth (in case you're dealing with the same thing, we needed to let that dry out and we switched to Dr. Brown's basic silicone pacifiers because they don't make contact with the skin around the mouth - healed quickly on its own after that). This is also a good heavy moisturizing cream for extremely dry skin. I haven't found anything better. Plus, it doesn't have parabens, PABA, phthalates or dyes, and it's cruelty free.

Great cream and pleasant smell
I bought this to use for my son who had small patches of dry skin. I ended up using it for me too. It has such a soothing aromatherapeutic smell and it is great to use after a bath and before bed. I like to think that it helps calm me, and my son, down before bedtime.I trust the California Baby products after reading a lot of reports about potential toxins in skin products. It is worth the price to know that you're getting good natural products to use on your (and your baby's) body.

Miracle Lotion!
I lather my newborn in this lotion after bath time now!! After one use it got rid of his baby acne (so bad on his face that I took him to the doctor) and has really improved his eczema on his hands and elbows. I have used this product on his legs and feet since birth and I believe that it has prevented eczema that could easily pop up on his knees. I did not use any california baby products until recently so I am unable to attest to the change in product ingredients. This stuff has worked wonders for us!!

Strong fragrance
This cream is expensive but I was desperate to find something that could help my baby’s dry and sensitive skin. While this cream is very moisturizing, the fragrance is a bit too strong for a baby. I don’t use this for my son because of that, but occasionally use it for myself. I just want to get through the jar since I spent so much on it.

Worth every cent!
My daughter developed eczema around 3-5 months old and I must have purchased almost $200 in other lotions and creams recommended by other moms and even doctors! I stumbled upon California Baby late one night in my desperation to find some relief for my baby. At her worst outbreak, this cream not only calmed the outbreak but made it completely disappear! It's definitely pricey but my child is now 4 years old with beautiful rose-petal skin and only occasional outbreaks from seasonal changes. California Baby is worth every penny for my daughter to be comfortable.
