Item works well in reducing apple magot numbers in my NW washington orchard
Item was easy to use and apply to trees. the number of articles allowed me to treat 3 trees. Overall, a great produd.

Cheap good and bad. Balls good, spray meh
Liked that they were inexpensive and easy to assemble for a large quantity. Dislike the adhesive quality of the spray. It was a mess to put on and didn’t seem to last all that long. Plan to keep the traps and use more standard bug trap goop on them next year.

Apple Maggots are gone
Last year was brutal for fruit flies and I ended up having apple maggots in all of my trees. I hung these things in my orchard and they worked amazing. They are covered in flies. I did not have any in the apples at all. None! This product is first class! I didn't see one bee on them either. Big flies, little flies, then micro flies. it wiped out the whole season of flies!!!!! Well worth the money for organic fly killing.

Waste of $
I ordered this to try rather than chemicals. It came thrown into a usps box. Some of the “globes” were smashed. I laugh because I was asked for a review and it came weeks later than expected. I wanted to return because of cheap quality and couldn’t. Amazon says can’t accept back cause the glue is in aerosols cans. Horrible. Expensive for what you get. DO NOT BUY!

Works?
No instruction on what to use to clean the red spheres. I found that mineral spirits was needed. The solvent should be on the label.

Apple Maggot Treatment
A great value for folks suffering from apple maggot infestation, this product is easy to use and worth it's price. The "apple balls" fold together and are attached to a hanging wire. The sticky glue is easily sprayed onto the apple ball and hung onto the tree. A disposable product, but can be cleaned and reused the following year. I have many apple trees but I also have apple maggots on my cherry tree. It's used for any type of fruit tree or others like hawthorne where these pest are a problem. Apple maggots are a different problem than the commonly known codling moth which also ruin apple crops. This product is environmentally safe to use. It will not attract pollinators.
