DNA MOTORING Black STEPB-ZTL-8017-BK 6" Matte Side Step Bar Running Board

Ordered a set of these and when they arrived each side step had a dent in it. Went through the process of exchanging them for another set (thinking certainly the next set will be fine). The next set arrived and both step bars were scuffed with deep scratches in the chrome. Also, one of the plastic end caps was already coming loose where it was not manufactured well. Don't waste your time buying these steps, pay a little more and get a quality product.

The product was cheap made. The steps were very flimsy and did not feel sturdy at all. Plus it is costing me to return the product. This is one reason why I dislike ordering online. I feel like it should not have cost me to send something back. I order alot online, and this is the second item that I had to return.

Let me start by saying all of the reviews were entirely accurate. The box came damaged. The hardware was loose inside the box and i was missing two lock washers. The running boards were both dented in the same spot. I did not return them as the dent was on the inside of the running board. I am 250lbs and they are holding up fine.

They appeared to be decent boards but upon installing and riding around, the black accents are cheaply attached and rattle while driving. The boards as a whole flex when you step on them (let's hope no one over 200 steps on it or bye bye) if I had to sum this product up in one word: CHEAP

I am still undecided on these, they look good on my truck but I’m not sure how long they will last. They seem a little on the flimsy side. It’s the first pair I’ve ever had on a truck.

An exact match for the ones already on the truck. Hubby did some modifications to install on the bed of the truck behind the cab and in front of the rear wheels. Worked perfectly! Looks amazing!

Last August I purchased a 2013 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew Cab. In August I went to Amazon and found the "DNA MOTORING Chrome STEPB-ZTL-8017 6" Pair of OE Style Stainless Steel Side Step Nerf Bar Running Boards." I was given a delivery date that was 2 weeks out and I was good with this. Imagine my surprise when there were delivered to my front door 1 week early, NICE!! Had them installed and WOW everything really looks sharp. Needless to say, I am very happy with my purchase. Great product, great service and great price!

Looked good on Truck. Needed extra washers where it mounted to body, had to buy extra at Lowes. Install instructions are severely lacking.Worst I have seen and I install a lot of steps.
