Max Factor Creme Puff - # 42 Deep Beige, 21 g

I read a lot of reviews before making this purchase. It was very hard to figure out which shade I needed, since Max Factor's Creme Puff has been around for so long and there are several different shade interpretation charts floating around the internet. I'm Native American as well, which makes it doubly hard to find shades tailored to my light-medium-tanned skin. I finally settled on Candle Glow, which looked closest to my color (and because I really, really liked the name). It turned out to be a perfect match. I tried then threw away the "puff" it comes with because it's a very thin, very rough piece of what looks like Styrofoam (I'm sure it's not) and it hurt my delicate face-skin. After applying with a rubycell puff though, I was amazed! All I put on was moisturizer and Creme Puff, and my skin looked even, clear, and glowing. The powder didn't look or feel cakey, even after several hours. I did touch up every few hours, but that was more because I wanted to rather than needed to. My skin is usually a combination of oily T-zone, forehead, and eyelids versus dry cheeks and broken-out chin. Creme Puff kept my oil at bay and didn't make my skin break out any more. I have acne scars on one cheek that I hate, and this powder made them virtually impossible to see. The only thing that could be wrong about it is the scent. It is quite strong, like a perfumed baby powder. It usually takes about fifteen minutes before I can't smell it anymore. I'm mildly sensitive to smells, but this one doesn't really bother me. I could see it bothering others though, so purchase with caution. I've heard it described as "old lady perfume" too. All in all, I love this powder and can see why it's been around for so long. I definitely recommend it as long as you aren't sensitive to smells. I know I'll be buying it again!

My mom loves it

This is a very good powder foundation and applied easily. It was a good match for my skin. However, I do want to give a heads-up, since many prefer an unscented product, that it is noticeably perfumed. The scent dissipates very quickly after application, however. I did think the "puff" could have been a little nicer. It was an extremely thin piece of foam. And the packaging is not very attractive, which is surprising considering that Max Factor played such a large part in Hollywood's Golden Years and you would think they would want their products to have a little glamour. It would have been nicer if this had been designed as a compact with a mirror. Still, the product itself is good and does what it is supposed to do.

Nice shade for light to medium skin tones

Product arrived late. Not as described. Darker than expected for truly fair. Not happy with this purchase. No at home pickup retun option without charge. Cannot return due to large return fee. Very disappointed. Will not purchase again.

We like the product but the company or Amazon keeps placing the sticker over the ingredients and it he information on the back. Taking it off always rips the information. Bad bad bad!

I love this creame puff, great coverage and natural and light look. When I wear it everyone aks what i have on. I use the darkest shade (42) and unlike all other tann colors this one does not have the awkward orange tone to it and just looks like a natural mat tan. Love it.

Arrivato in tempo record... Imballato in maniera sicura, arrivati Intatti... Lo uso da una vita ormai è credo di Non poterne più fare a meno, Compatta l’incarnato è da un colorito Naturale alla pelle... No effetto pelle unta! Da al trucco un effetto naturale ... Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo! Ne ho presi due per non rimanere senza!! Lo straconsiglio!!

De momento he comprado el TONO 042 deep beige y el 013 Noveau beige . El segundo me queda mejor ahora para invierno es más fondo arena y más claro y el 42 tiene un fondo más rosado y oscuro lo usaba para verano y ahora la zona de los laterales de la nariz y papada. Encantada con la calidad de ambos, se asienta bien en mi piel y con mi piel grasa me quito los brillos y aguanta unas 12 horitas. también es verdad que matificó la zona de la nariz que es donde más brillo me sale.

Moi qui et asser difficile pour le maquillage jai trouver celui ci de bonne qualité bon produit mais dommage il tien pas tt la journée et il laisse quelque imperfections apres je pense que sa dois etre une question de peau jai la peau sensible a la basse a essayé comme même pour les futur acheteur

Ho preso il colore 55 è avendo una pelle molto chiara è leggermente scuro e tende all'arancione. Ho riordinato la tonalità traslucent ed è perfetta. Ha un odore buonissimo e anche l'effetto è molto bello.
