Bought this because I got tired of changing out thread nets on all of the different colors of embroidery thread I use. It comes as a single length - I keep it on the rolling cart that services my embroidery machines. When I get to a color that doesn't have a thread net, I simply grab the end of the length and hold it up to the spool and cut to size. I like my thread net to insert into the bottom of the cone and then invert and slip over the thread cone from bottom up. With this product, I can custom fit any size spool. Great product! Will buy again (I use a LOT of different embroidery threads!) It also works great on serger thread cones and regular thread spools for sewing machines!

Too stretchy for home sewing spools

I have BIG 5000m spools of polyester embroidery thread that I wanted to use this for but it's too loose, it doesn't hold the thread tight enough for it no to unravel. Which means I didn't even try to use it on the smaller 500m spools because I know they're just gonna slip out.

Bought some huge cones of metallic thread- slippery stuff - bought this netting. You cut the net to the size you need and slide it over the cone. Worked like a charm!! No more thread pooling or coming off the cone on loops. Fits my regular size spools and my 7” thread cones equally well. Highly recommend this product especially if you use metallic thread
