Great circuit charge control switch.
Used this circuit in combination with a small Mono, crystalline, solar panel, led flame diode , lithium battery, old oil lamp, on a decoration for Halloween. Works great. Circuit charges the battery during the day. Sends the stored energy in the battery to the diode light one the solar panel stops sending voltage to the circuit. Switching on the light. The price is great. The quality is top notch. Perfect welds. Great value. Buying more to build some more yard gizmos

They work.
I had a fancy solar light with the controller integrated into the light board...It failed, so I bypassed the controller and hooked this up inline to handle the charging and auto on/off function... They are working perfectly for months now. I will say they have a little more variance as to when they turn on and off but that is partially due to the solar panels volts out and partially due to the chips just being less sensitive probably... Anyway I used two of them, didn't test the third, both turn on within about five minutes of each other and work flawlessly.

Good for Solar Device Repair
Used this for repair of a solar string light set that stopped charging its battery. This works, but it's not quite as smart as what it replaced. For example, our tiki torches cause it to flicker and I need to cover the panel to get them to come on fully. This panel is right next to another set that either is not sensitive to the torches. Another thing I noticed is that all of my other lights turn off between midnight a 2am. However, the one repaired with one of these boards stays on all night and just gets dimmer as the night goes on. They will stay on until the sun comes up. Still happy with these, just FYI.

Great for garden lights and also can return a solar tracker to the east
These are very well made. I use them for outdoor lighting and I also use one to turn a solar tracker back to the east after dark. I use a single 18650 battery and a small 5 volt solar panel. When it gets dark the unit sends power to the tracker rotation motor to turn it counterclockwise. So much simpler than other methods.

Different than shown. Switch permanently on without modification.
Although I had previously reported that these do not charge, i tried again using a different one along with a different panel and battery and they do, so far, seem to work. Either the first is defective or the panel is but i doubt it's the panel as it works with other things. It should be noted, however, that these differ from the photos shown in that they are slightly longer and have a pair of diagonally located mounting holes that the photos do not show. Also, the solder pads for the light and switch are reversed than that shown. If you look closely at the photos, you'll see a trace connecting the switch pads so if you intend on using one, you'll need to scratch off that trace but there is no documentation whatsoever so it was only by chance that I noticed it. Otherwise it will be on all the time whether or not there is a switch.

Worked Perfectly to Fix my Solar Light
My solar garden lamp stopped working after only two years. I opened it up and found the battery fully charged, I tested the bulb and it also worked. So I concluded the circuit is gone. I could not believe when I found this little circuit board for a good price. After some simple soldering the light is working perfectly and it gives me joy whenever it comes on at night.

Fantastic board for the price.
These are fantastic little boards. Hard to find one that auto turns off during the day and auto turns on at night and charges the battery. The other reviewer said they used a boost, but the description and my experience says you can't. At least not to 5v. It works until it powers off and then powers back on at a much smaller voltage. So doesn't really work with a booster. Either way though, cheap, economical, and working solar board. I hope I can find these again in the future.

Works well, doesn’t protect from over discharge
This product works as described but doesn’t have battery over discharge protection. You’ll need to use protected batteries or add a protection circuit to your build.
