Iron Sky Soundtrack

I loved all of the music, but especially track 38 "America" - great song!! Also, shipment was fast with no problems.

The soundtrack for this film has a powerful, clever and dramatic score. Worth listening to again and again. As a bonus, it even has some dialogue from the picture. It is an example where the music is far better than the movie, which is why I bought it. Overall: I am pleased with this product and it is a wonderful addition to my sci-fi and fantasy music library.

A really different collection of music for a very different movie. I found the movie original and fresh and the soundtrack compliments the movie nicely. Glad I decided to buy it.

No comment. What can be better than this. Laibach's great acoustic soundtrack will excite your ears! Also 20 soundtrack musics are unique in Movie Soundtrack World.

Couldn't find anywhere on Amazon web site to complain about bad mp3s, so I'm posting here in hopes someone at Amazon reads this. I'm not much of a soundtrack guy but I bought this a couple of years ago and today I'm listening to it closely for the first time. It's amusing if you're in the mood for it. There are skips which sounds like the mp3s were pulled from a scratched CD. (Kind of amazes me that's what you get when you buy mp3's online, but it's the truth, it's happened to me on bandcamp too.) In particular Track 34 "Feuer Frei!", Track 38 "America", and Track 40 "End Title" skip badly - that is to say, the streaming audio and downloaded mp3s both contains skips apparently incurred from a bad rip.

Sound Track was Awesome!!!! Better than expected and Just as described!!! Seller was Great to deal with and would recommend them100%!!!!!!

After being able to see this at SXSW, and especially after rewatching the opening scene, this soundtrack has brought me back wanting to see it again! An excellent combination of the background music with audio clips from the scene(s) in the movie. The best tracks are "Space Battle Suite" which has a lot of Wagner, Leibach's "America" which is based off their own song of the same name, and "Under the Iron Sky". Leibach's heavy metal is used extensively in some songs in addition to the traditional movie scoring with bells, horns and strings. In most tracks it works very well.

The music was for the film "IRON SKY" was simply beautiful. I enjoyed it so much I had to rush here to buy it, and especially nice is the track "Under The Iron Sky", as the vocals are amazing. As for the previous reviewer hating the film, clearly that's just a matter of opinion, because I really enjoyed the film, and as a history and/or sci-fi movie fan, you really can't go wrong with Nazis on the moon!

this is the perfect soundtrack to a perfect, politically incorrect film!...I would be listening to the tracks on my player, and chuckling to my self, remembering where that track is from in the film.... I have been a fan of Laibach for a long time, and they still got it where it counts, and they don't disappoint their fans either.... this is a must purchase!!!

I'm already a huge fan of Laibach. Their bombastic music and imagery has appealed to me not only for its powerful emotion, but for the sarcasm and political commentary inherent within. This, their first cinematic soundtrack, is no less bombastic. It is, however, more tongue in cheek than previous material... maybe graduating to a full on raspberry. Iron Sky is a funny movie with a thin veil of commentary, but it is basically sci fi and military movie porn. That Laibach would attach itself to something so direct in its intent was a bit of a surprise. More surprising, however, is the adept way they've gone from pop music to a competent musical score. While the lack of a real orchestra is apparent, they hit all the notes for a good score, with leitmotifs, dirges, exciting battle music, and comical pieces. True to their past doing reinterpretations of classic rock and pop, they sneak in melodies from other composers as diverse as Wagner and John Williams. This package is great, a beautiful gate-fold jacket with an immense picture of the band and movie characters inside. The double-vinyl is accompanied by two CDs in slip jackets so this very complete collection of material can be purchased once and enjoyed either analog or digitally. Thankfully, this version of the score doesn't feature the dialogue of the movie, so no more will I be playing the "Iron Sky" soundtrack and have screams of "Heil Hitler!" publicly emanating from my stereo in an embarrassing moment. Just the music, thanks. If you're only a fan of Laibach's guitar-tinged industrial music, well, you're a pedant and you might be disappointed. There is only one Laibach "song" included, but it is a heart-stopping rendition of B Mashina with Milan Fras taking over vocal duties. For fans of movie scores and of Laibach's oeuvre, this is a must have.

First of all the vinyl release is loaded with great artwork from the film. The movie was amusing and very well done for the money that was spent on it and the choice to have Laibach do the soundtrack was stunning. I have been a fan since 1986 and I can see why they have the lasting power that they have. In some ways this move will confuse some who are not familiar with the group. Here in the U.S. that confusion is already going on. The album was not available through Amazon U.S., and when I was looking at it the person who wrote the promo mistakenly said Laibach was a German industrial band. If you don't already know they are from Slovenia! Most of their material is sung in German, probably due to the Nazi takeover in WW II. They were the same people who changed the name of the Slovenian capital to Laibach after their invasion of that part of the world. Laibach was the name from the days when the Romans first invaded them. The album is a very good slice of commercial soundtrack work and so far I think I have every album they have put out. If it's made by Laibach I want it.

劇場で見た時から、音楽の使い方がいいな～と思っていたんですが オープニングのハワイアン調？の曲から国歌斉唱、アメリカ国歌オマージュや ラストのテーマソングまでバラエティに富んだユニークなアルバムだと思います。 ライベックというアーティストはこれで初めて知ったのですが、音楽表現の幅がとても広く デスメタルのような物からオーケストラ、軽音楽までセンテンスをバランスよく組み込める 非常に才能のあるアーティストですね。
