Great Read into How an Engineering Brain is Different
This book is great not only for Engineers but for those interested in how the Engineering mind works to sort out answers to technical problems. I am not an Engineer but a Historian of Technology. I enjoyed it thoroughly and after reading it sent the book with all my many plastic tabs to a good friend who is a university degreed mechanical engineer. I look forward to his comments. Three big ideas, excellent examples
Well written with good examples that don’t simply create an engaging narrative, but integrate with summaries of what the most thoughtful and considered engineer’s have distilled regarding what it is that makes for a good engineering mind. Some fairly lengthy idiosyncratic sections that dilute the main thread.
