Farming Life in Another World Volume 1

Great read but thought I was buying the light novel Amazon should list more clearly which one it is since they share the same title

Def worth the read. Allt different from the anime. Hope we get a season 2

Synopsis: Hiraku Machio had an unfortunate life. Parents died at a young age, relatives that treated him poorly, working at a job that was equivalent to a sweatshop, contracting and fighting cancer for years, and tragically died at the age of 39. God took pity on him and was willing to transfer Hiraku to another world with requests. Hiraku asked for a healthy body (due to being sick), to live in a place where there is few people (due to being treated horribly by work and family), ability to speak the local language (which God says is part of the "beginner package" *laughs*), and becoming a farmer (since Hiraku saw it on TV at the hospital). God then decides to give him the Almighty Farming Tool (AFT), a tool that can turn into any agricultural tool and will give Hiraku the ability to plant any crop he desires. Hiraku thanks God and finds himself in the middle of a forest. Overall: It's a my pace story similar to "Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill" or "I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level". This is details of starting his new life and might seem monotonous now, but it does get interesting later. It gets hilarious how ridiculous a farmer Hiraku actually is when compared to a normal one. Personal Thoughts: -ONE PEACE you have Shield Hero LN, why couldn't you get the LN for this one!? -The puppies are LITTER-ally named Kuroichi (black one), Kuroni (black two), Kurosan (black three), and Kuroyon (black four). -Hiraku literally chose "black" in Japanese, German, French, and Chinese. He also chose Kuromaru (blackspot or failure) or Kurotaro (blackboy). He has the worst naming sense and admits it. -God expects him to faint using the AFT, but forgot he gave him a literal God-given, healthy body. -Hiraku has been killing and eating monsters in a forest -Kurosan (strongest sister of the litter) found Zabuton. -Zabuton is the matron and a BAMF -Ru is a dicey character considering how she looks before and after she ingests blood as a vampire. She starts calling him names because Hiraku's "stamina" is absolutely ridiculous (yes, they did it). -Tia gets pulled down by the Kuros (yes, the pack gets a name). -Ru was dragging Tia because Ru needed a break from Hiraku's nightly appetite and stamina (yes, they did it). -People die often in this world. Polyamory is there for a reason. -Tia and Ru knew elves needed some water, because they are THIRSTY! -Hiraku needs to invest in more exits. -Some of the fruit trees start to produce fruit when he planted them within 2 years (when it is usually between 5-10 years). -Zabuton's kids caught a FOOT LONG QUEEN BEE ALONG WITH 6 INCH BEES! THE ELVES ARE SHOWING A NORMAL REACTION!

I like the story, I wanted something like mushoku tensei where the main character has kids and see his progress. Though it not the greatest story it's good enough for me. Give it a try if you like slow quite life. Not a lot of fighting.

I like manga, but what I really wanted was the light novel. Some Amazon listings don;t make it clear. I'll keep this manga version to support the author and read it on my Fire 10 tablet or PC. I find reading manga on my phone app difficult. I much prefer the Light Novel on the phone because after adjusting the text size it is a simple scroll to advance. No playing with the magnifier across the speech bubbles etc. Well I've learn a lesson if it doesn't say light novel in the listing I should download a sample or use the 'look inside' feature!

Interesting concept and fun story. If I understand correctly the story goes as the same as the novel too. Worth reading,

Husband loves his book

This manga is a huge departure from the late novel and the anime not sure where it was going kind of got lost I'll review it again after reading the second album we'll see where we go the graphics aren't too good either seems to be a lot of censorship

It is a fun read and one of my favourites. I mean the main character is living a life I would die to have, but the amount of detail it has is a lot from what people say it has dragons, crops, food, different races, construction and so much more! If you are looking for even more detail than this, I suggest just reading a light novel as they have a lot of detail(maybe it has more details than the manga). The art is also fine I have not seen anything bad about it anyways this book is just ba fun series to read if you are bored as reading gives pleasure to those of us that love reading to escape reality. I 100% recommend this book but if slow life, farming and easy going manga is not your thing I'd suggest other manga books that have more action-packed to it.

電子書籍で海の向こうの海外版が手に入るのは大変ありがたいですね。 日本語版と合わせて英語の勉強にもなるので嬉しい所。 日本と海外ではタイトルが違うので、原作小説やコミックの関連アイテムとして検索が楽になると嬉しいすね。 自分も人から聞いて初めてアマゾンで海外版を購入できることを知ったので。

Es ist genial, mit wie wenigen Bildern der Zeichner eine komplexe Novel umsetzen kann, ohne dass wesentliche Teile der Erzählung verloren gehen. Ich habe die Novel im Web bis Kapitel 450 gelesen (not completed), im Buch sind gerade mal 16 Kapitel abgebildet, da sind also noch viele Bücher zu erwarten. Wie bei japanischen Mangas zu erwarten, von hinten nach vorne zu lesen, das Format mit Din A5 ist soweit ok, auf meinem 32"-Bildschirm ist es aber besser zu lesen. Adventure, Comedy, Fantasy, Harem, Romance, Seinen, Slice of Life - perfekt. Ich hoffe, dass bald ein Anime dazu herauskommt, I can't wait!

This is a nice life journal manga I guess. Im not exactly one to typically buy manga, but ive been sucked into rune factory and other life sim/farming games, so this kinda scratched the itch I had for more stuff like that. Theres a lot of annoying time skips, but I think the author was mostly just using this first volume to establish the rules of the world before delving too deep into the mc's new life. I've ordered all the available volumes and I look forward to reading more.

A man dies after a hard life and is given a new life in a new world. He is given some special skills and abilities to have an easier life but because he asked for simple things the one in charge of helping him overdid it with amusing results. This is his story.
