With Christmas celebration for our grandson came stocking stuffers, toys, robot cars and sleds... but lurking behind all that glamor was this microscope and telescope. And soon after breakfast and a breather from all that was scattered on the floor was this one box, just begging to be opened and explored. Easy to assemble, with wonderful pre-prepared slides, the microscope grabbed his attention right away. Then came the telescope, offering a wondrous view of Puget Sound at daybreak. Of all the things received this Christmas morning, this gift remained atop the kitchen table -- a place he visited time after time all day long. A great gift for an inquisitive almost-6-year-old full of adventure and discovery!

Accuracy
Amazing gift? However the product is smaller than picture. It is not what I expected as it looks like a toy not what I really wanted. It arrived as s gift so could not return being overseas.

DO NOT BUY - ITEMS DO NOT WORK
I was excited to buy this for my son as a gift. Neither the microscope nor the telescope worked. I read the reviews and some of them were the same experience as mine. I wasted almost 100 dollars on an item that cannot be used. You can only imagine how disappointed my child is.

Not what i was looking for
I was very disappointed from the start of opening the box. It's my fault for not looking right away but I opened it up the night before Christmas so I can set this up for my son and there was a broken part on the mircoscope base. I ended up super glueing the peice and it's fine now. For the telescope, setting this up on a table outside and trying to angle this up to the sky, it wouldn't move any higher to see the stars. I had to unscrew the telescope from the stand and flip it around so it can angle upwards towards the sky. I don't know if they are all like this when you buy it or if it was just mine. It's very flimsy and it doesn't focus like I would like it. I need to do more research next time I buy a telescope and I suggest others do the same. This item was very well priced, but I guess you get what you pay for.
