Believe it or not me and my brother have been talking about this tool for about 15 years since my brother was about 10 years old. He always was really into pocket knives and multitool’s and anything like that he even had a small reviewing channel on Google plus back in those days. This was one of those tools he always talked about and always kind of dreamt of getting although I would always make fun of him because he was about 11 years old at the time and he had no real use for such a tool, which would really only be used in first aid and a rescuing or Injury context however fast forward to today. My brother is just about to get his bachelors degree as a nurse. He also loves to hike and do anything outdoors, so I thought this would be the perfect gift for him since we have always talked about it. Always kind of joked about it, but in all seriousness, he is a very handy and practical tool for somebody like him in his line of work he actually uses a very similar tool on a day-to-day basis, but it’s just a cheap, no name collapsible version of the same tool when I got this in the mail. I was so excited. I had to open it and take a look at it for myself. I am amazed with the quality and Leatherman never fails to disappoint premium and it feels so solid and satisfying click to it. It’s something that is going to last a long time but hopefully won’t be used too much.

Great at cutting just about anything. Bought these for my paramedic husband. He feels that they are easy to grip even with a gloved hand. These fold nicely for more compact storage. The holster also fits conveniently on your duty pants so you don’t have to fish around inside a pocket for your scissors. Would highly recommend.

As a Surgical assistant I find myself using my bandage scissors constantly, at work we're issued a pair of lister bandage scissors and mine have fallen into disrepair with no hope of ever being repaired. These scissors are outstanding , compact , come with a holster ( so they aren't clinking around in my pocket with my phone ) they're multifunctional , and are insanely sharp. And they can be holstered both in their folded and open configuration. With the inclusion of a ring cutter , oxygen wrench , and a ruler , these are the perfect tool for the job I do. The only advantage listers have over these is the option to sterilize them. I'm going to recommend we issue these to all new SAs going forward.

Wow tool

I work in a level 1 trauma center in the emergency department of a large city and let me tell you I do not leave work without these. I initially had a couple of pairs that were less expensive but I found myself struggling to cut thick denim jeans and through multiple layers of clothing for our trauma arrivals. Not with these things. They cut effortlessly are of high quality and safe for use if properly used. I love how they fold up and go right on my hip. Although the hard case holder is a little uncomfortable it just took me a little getting used to wearing. I thought about simply putting in my pocket but I do t like the way they hit my leg while running around the floor so the hip holster mitigates that issue. Would buy again any day worth the money don’t skimp on this item. If you work in emergency care or any other environment you know how important it is to have a set of high quality shears. I find myself lending them and making sure I get them back all the time.

I'll admit that I was a bit hesitant at first to spend $100 on a pair of trauma shears that I get for free at work. I'm a firefighter/EMT and use these often. Someone at work had this same leatherman tool and I got to use his first hand. I was impressed. Not only are they stronger and will outlast the free shears, but they fold up and has other handy uses that just make this pair of shears more personal. Well, I broke down and ordered my own and I'm glad that I did. I've already used them for miscellaneous reasons around my house. They re lubricated to make use simple and I already love mine! The belt holster is also pretty cool. I wasn't going to use it at first because I thought it would be too bulky, but I tried it on and its more convenient to fold up my shears and slide them in the clip for safer storage instead of my pocket. I'll get great use out of the O2 wrench and seatbelt cutter i no time, The ring cutter as a bit on the thin side, but I'm sure with 2 quick cuts I'll be able to get a rind off someone in need with ease until the man vrs machine tools get on scene. Love my shears!

Den Scheren in den üblichen Verbandskästen sieht man die bescheidene Qualität ja direkt an, geprägtes Blech halt. Die Raptor dagegen ist sehr stabil gebaut, schneidet auch dickere Lagen von Binden und Pflaster ohne Problem. Die anderen integrierten Werkzeuge machen einen guten, soliden Eindruck. Das Zusammenklappen der Schere funktioniert und ausgeklappte ist sie trotzdem stabil.
