Bad odor
As soon as I pulled one out of the packaging I could smell diesel fuel, went ahead and applied to my strop and the entire house smelled like petroleum, no other strop compound that I've used ever had a smell.Needless to say wife wasn't happy.

Flakes off Strop
This compound doesn't seem to want to work into the strop. It almost sits on top of the leather rather than works into it, and then when polishing the blade it flakes off the compound. It's just not working well at all for me. Maybe I got an old, dried out compound? It almost seems that way.
