Sticky Tab Markers in a Booklet

I am studying medicine and have started using these tabs to mark my textbooks. As I study for my certification exam, these tabs have made my studying so much easier.STRENGTH:The tabs are made from a card stock type material. To give you an objective measure of their thickness, I have been writing with a black 'Sharpie' permanent marker on these tabs and it has not bled through the paper.ADHESIVE:I have found the adhesive to be adequate. In my pack, the adhesive was placed in the appropriate location of the tab as compared to what other reviews have experienced. You do however have to be careful to hold he entire pack down as you pull a single tab off as it is easy to remove the entire 50 pack from the booklet but I have not found this to be bothersome.COLOR:The color is slightly duller than shown on the pictures which I found to be a relief since the color shown on my screen is an eyesore compared to the actual color of the tabs.OVERALL:I found this to be an excellent product. It comes with a nice booklet that is protective when you are not using the tabs. The price for the quality and quantity is unreal and I have not found it to be beaten.

These tabs are very nice colors, and seem to be of a great quality. They are a thick card-stock paper material (I was afraid that would be thin and flimsy). The colors in the photo are obviously just photoshopped, but I like the real colors better anyway. I love that the little book they come in closes, as this prevents damage in my book bag. Why did I give they 4 stars? Because the product is advertised incorrectly. The product advertisement states there are 50 of each tab color, equaling 600 tabs. The wrapper on the package states that there are 40 of each tab color, equalling 480 tabs. Thats a difference of 120 tabs, and it makes me slightly disappointed. I also counted how many tabs there were, or 1 of the colors, and 40 was correct.

I cannot live without these tabs! I am purchasing another pack because I've run out of most of the colors. I am a college student, and I use these for everything - organizing papers in my binder, marking chapters in my textbook, color coding sections in my folders etc. They stick just fine, and the best part is that they do not damage pages - they peel off easily. You do need to be a little careful when you peel them out of the book - I've had a few tear on me this way, but it's no biggie because there are SO many. My first set lasted for an ENTIRE year. My only criticism is that I do not use the darker colors (black, brown, navy) that much - you would need a metallic pen to see any writing on them. Any type of pen or pencil would be fine for the others, but I like to use my fine point permanent marker pen. These tabs have become indispensable for me - strongly recommend.

I bought my 1st order of these over 4 years ago and I am nearly out. I was surprised at how long it had been since I ordered this product and realized that the adhesive was still going strong. I even checked some of my earlier files and those tabs showed no signs of falling off. Working far better than the other name brand that I had used on another project. The only negative thing I could say about these tabs are the darker colored tabs where black or blue pens are useless; however, I found that a white gel pen solved that issue and quite frankly looks sharp in the files.

I use these in reference books to either mark sections used frequently, to alphabetize, index and sometimes to cross reference. These are books and materials used nearly every day - they're holding up really well so far. One tab did rip while trying to remove it from the stack - honestly felt it was because I was trying to remove it too quickly while not looking - I realized it was tearing and slowed down - the tab is in use and doesn't appear that it will be a problem. I have used the Post-It tabs as well and I do like them. However, these Semikolon Tab Markers have a more classic appearance. While I do still use the post-it tabs on some things, it seems to me that I got more bang for my buck with these. Believe it or not, black sharpie marker shows up on the black tabs pretty well.

The colors are glorious! The tabs are easy to write on. I just wish the tabs were more durable and stuck on better.

Dude! This is far and away on of the best things I've gotten from Amazon for my schooling. WOW!!! The tab colors are absolutely perfect, and the weight and thickness of the tabs themselves is actually rather perfect. They hold up to a bit of wear and tear, but dont expect them to last forever. I use them for my textbooks to keep place, and some of them, the ones that I want to keep there and dont want to have to replace, I just put a bit of tape on either side to strengthen them up, and they hold up like a dream! The hardback "book" that they come in is also perfect because it keeps the tabs safe and I can carry them around in my purse for that emergency tab situation!

I use this to tab my work notebook -- great for projects that are in motion and your ideas of categories might change over time. Perfect color match for Semikolon's other markers so you can cross-reference across notebooks. The only drawback is the brown and black tabs are nigh-useless unless you use special white pens.

Great colours, worked well for what I needed them for apart from 1 thing. They are barely sticky! Kept falling off so they are now sellotaped into place.

Not as sticky as I would have liked, some peeling. But does the job. Some of the colours quite hard to write on, think you need a White pen really
