iFJF 134001 Fuel Filter Housing Cap Replacement for 2017-2024 GM Duramax 6.6L L5P Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra 2500HD 3500HD Billet Aluminum with Drain Plug

Fit and finish is great, OEM and aftermarket filters snap into place not too loose and not too tight. Has a crush washer for the drain plug, hopefully I can get replacement washers in the future. Otherwise it’s a great product that won’t round off like the plastic housing. Also remember to lube the o-ring with diesel before torquing down. Only thing my 36mm socket fits tighter than the 1-7/16 socket for some reason not sure if that is a detractor since it says that it was supposed to be that socket size according to the description.

Would highly recommend anyone with a 3.0 duramax to buy this product

Very affordable, hasn't leaked seals fit perfect. It's strong and metal socket works alot better than plastic for easy removal and fitment. Drain plug is a plus.

The plastic cap on my 3.0 LM2 rounded off one day while changing the filter, decided to switch to those to solve my problem. Fits great, looks like it’s made well and so far no issues.

The housing installs and fits perfectly on my 2020 GMC 2500 Duramax 6.6l Diesel. Much better than the plastic factory housing. I could tell from my last change that the plastic factory housing socket bolt wasn't going to last after only two prior chnages. This housing should be metal from the factory. Only issue with this product is the housing drain plug screw O Ring. It does fit will into the screw groove, probably too big, and it pushes out of the screw sides improperly. I set the O Ring as evenly as possible in the housing screw groove and gently tightened the screw until if looked as even as possible. I tightened down pretty good and do not intend to use this drain plug in the future out of fear the O Ring will fail. I will just use the socket bolt and deal with a little fuel leaking.

So far so good. Works great on my 2022 Silverado 3500 HD No leaking as with the original plastic crap they give you. Dealer wanted $135 for replacement with filter. Can’t beat this price
