Grasshopper & Cricket Control (5 Pound)

Works Great! I had a grasshopper take over two years ago. When you walked through the yard there was waves of Grasshoppers. I live in Oklahoma, they ate every things one year. All my flowers - everything. They even ate Monkey grass. I had tried the pesticides from Wal-Mart and Lowes. Seven dust just gave them a white mustache. It was late in the year when I found this stuff. Spread it with a Spreader across the whole yard. My Husband said, you might as well give up...you can't kill every grasshopper in OK. They just started dyeing. The population was cut in half by winter. I learned that grasshoppers lay their eggs in the ground where they hatch out the next year in the spring. So the next year I spread it early, and got most of the young before they had time to lay eggs. That year we had a normal grass hopper population. I bought it again this year just to make sure they don't take over again. I haven't seen any grass hoppers on the property. I think I can kill every grasshopper in OK.

I originally bought this product more than 10 years ago and it worked great. Dying reddish purple grasshoppers were every where. But eventually they came back. this spring, I bought 5 ponds of Semaspore and applied it when the hoppers were 1/4 to 1/2 inch long, and no rain. Now I have swarms of healthy grasshoppers and no diseased ones. So, either the survivors of my earlier treatment have immunity, or the batch I received is no good.

I've put this down several times over the past couple months as new batches of grasshoppers hatch. It is working wonders in the areas that it is applied. Unfortunately, the hoppers from neighboring property that have been growing unchecked are starting to creep over (and are now too large for this stuff to be effective). It's given my garden some time to jump-start growing and some plants are large enough now to withstand the onslaught.

I have uses multiple applications all month for a huge grasshopper infestation. Used it while they were small, and they are only getting bigger and eating more. So far no obvious decline in the hopper population or their hunger. I bought 10 pounds of this expensive stuff for my 1 acre. Called the state entomologist and he said it's not approved for sale in my state, although he had no opinion as to it's effectiveness. It says it can take awhile, so if it suddenly starts working I will change this review.

We had a swarm of grasshoppers last year and we applied this to take care of them. It was too late last year. The grasshoppers were already grown and by the time this arrived they had eaten almost all of my garden. the only plants remaining were my jalapenos and the rosemary.This year I ordered this as soon as I saw the small (1/4") grasshoppers and they are being well controlled. We are applying the second treatment today so our garden will continue to survive.This is a very effective treatment -- and it is ORGANIC, too!

All natural, easy to use and works exactly as described!! Got my order quick and easy. Followed the directions and my grasshopper problem is disappearing , wish it worked on worms and aphids!!

The grasshoppers have been real bad in Navarro county TX for the last couple of years eating everything I plant. I tryed this stuff this spring and where I used it the numbers of grasshoppers is down considerably compaired to other parts of my property. I think I'll be getting some more and trying it in other areas in hopes of controlling them better.

Seen some results, but don't know long term effect, and this was really bad year for grasshoppers.
