This one is going to be a Free Little Art Gallery!
I'm so excited to have this little sharing library! Several years ago we set up a Free Little Art Gallery... built it with wood. It was great fun for the neighborhood but finally the wood fell apart. Now.... with this great Simplay3 we will have a little gallery that will last! It is strong and well built! And... if the printed directions aren't enough there are several how-to assemble videos on YouTube.

Little library
Easy to put together. One determined person could manage, but its easier with two. The most difficult part was making sure all the parts aligned to screw the base together, but it took less than 20 minutes for full assembly including adding the sand. Neighborhood kids are enjoying it. No leaks during our wind and thunderstorms.

Great library!
I love this! It’s set up at the end of my driveway and I love to see our neighbors it’s use it! Very sturdy and waterproof. Such a fun addition!

Perfect
Such a cute addition to the front of my house. Very happy! One item though, I had someone build it for me. I didn't find the directions easy ... and it did take my handyman an hour and a half to complete the job. That being said, I still feel it was worth it as it is weather resistant, cute, and didn't require concrete. If you're not great at building things...you may want to factor labor into the cost, too.

Mixed bag
Pros - VERY waterproof. A kid left the front door open in a thunderstorm, and none of the books got wet! It was very easy to assemble.Cons - extremely annoying to fill, took almost 2 hours to fill, longer than it took to assemble. Despite adding 100 pounds of sand, it is still quite wobbly. I will probably have to dig it into the ground despite claims that it doesn't need a stake or digging.Still, it's an easy fix. Good buy overall. Time will tell if it's durable or not. If it rusts or develops a leak, I'll come back to update the review.

Very well made and sturdy, mine arrived 2 days early!!!
Item arrived 2 days early, and it is amazing! I took my time assembling it and it took less than an hour. Having an electric/battery drill helps greatly! The pieces fit perfectly, I can’t wait for the snow to be gone here in Cincinnati so I can get sand to fill the bottom and post and put it outside. The magnets (there are two) on the door are very strong! If anything they make the door a bit hard to open. But, I much prefer the door being hard to open than having it open so easily it gets blown open. Also, notice how the inside of the box is somewhat elevated, the door closes below the ledge. And the back of the box is slightly angled so any rain/snow/wind is pushed over the edge of the base of the box. I doubt I will ever have to worry about any moisture inside the is box. After reading reviews of wood doors on little library boxes not closing properly depending on the humidity and temps, I decided to spend the extra money for this one and super glad I did! We shall see how it lasts in the weather 365 days a year, but I’m going to guess it will handle the weather with ease.

Good size, good height
I was afraid it would not be as tall as the pictures indicate, but it is. I was also concerned because people said it was difficult to put together - I may have been surprised by how much work it was if I hadn't read that, but I was prepared and found it easier than expected. It took me (a far-from-strong female) about 20 minutes to put it all together minus the sand. If I'd grabbed the drill for the screws, it would have taken even less time. I found the instructions easy to follow; I've put together a lot of office furniture and it was less complicated. I'm very happy and I can't wait to put it in use this weekend!

Great movable library, love that it's made in the USA
We purchased this rather than install a permanent library, since we rent. The assembly was fairly straightforward and not difficult at all. I knew going in that it was not going to be a large, "deluxe" little library and that's fine. It's been a year and so far it's proven to be quite weatherproof; ours faces west and I have yet to see a book get soggy or even wet. I like that if we move, we can easily take it with us.
