Tie Down Engineering 86830 U-Bolt Square Pair Zinc Plated 3/8-16" X 3-1/8" X 4 X 1-3/4"

I didn't like the design of the mounting brackets that came with my spare tire mount for my jet-ski trailer. I came up with my own design and needed these U-bolts in a specific size. I tried several local stores with no luck, so home to my computer I went.My trailer has been in the lake many times and through several rains while on the road and I have no sign of rust on these after two years.

I used these on my boat trailer to hold the vertical up right that the Bell puts up against to the frame of the trailer, they work well. It has been a little while since I did this I believe I replaced the nuts that are on them with nylox nuts but truthfully I don't remember.

Works well. The material in side the nut makes it a little hard to take on and off. Will probable become easier after using them a few times

My mistake for assuming a 3/8" diameter U bolt. The description lists a 3/8 thread which is has. The bolt measures .330 which is just seventy seven percent as strong... closer to a 5/16 bolt than a 3/8. I will have to replace this with a half inch bolt since I don't trust this one.

Very hard to order these online with so many different represented sizes but these were exactly as described and worked perfectly for my application.

These would work if swivel bunk heads were the right size.

Well made, but the dimensions on the website were too much for this idiot to understand. As others have commented, the U-bolts are really only for a custom application and won't really fit on anything stock (in my case on a frame of a tongue trailer. Returned as they proved useless to me..

Worked great on replacing old U bolts on my boat trailer. Only place I could find the size I needed. The sizing schematic helped make sure I got exactly what I needed.
