I am having some trouble with this wheelchair. It arrived a couple weeks ago, but my husband did not take it out of the box for me until today. When we tried to lower the seat height with the quick release feature, the wheel rubbed against the brake mechanism and we don't have enough clearance for the wheel to turn unobstructed.If we adjust the brake where the wheel no longer drags, the brake no longer functions. I have to have the seat lower to self propel and don't know if I should send this back or if someone can tell me how to fix this. I tried to add to this review, hope it works this time. As we looked at this wheelchair further, we realized that one wheel is too close to the frame and doesn't have enough clearance to accommadate the brake mechanism. Doesn't matter if wheels are set high or low, only way to use this wheelchair is to remove the brake on one side. How will I know if someone reads this review?

Roscoe does not handle parts. Amazon has to ship an entire new wheelchair to replace this one small part and then I have to return one of the wheel chairs. So not only am I inconvenienced, the cost of multiple shippings is astronomical and I am sure increase the bottom dollar to us, the consumer.When contacted by both me and Amazon Roscoe showed no concern for me as a consumer. They insisted this had to go through Amazon. Then they wanted me to get down on the floor and find the serial number so they could pass the info on to quality control for their sake not to help me. They refused to do anything to correct their error.

This came fully assembled, we just had to add the leg/feet holders on. Nothing to it. Took longer to open the box than to have it up and working. The photo shows it as a soft brown color but make no mistake, it's a metallic black/tiny bit of silver color. Who cares really.The wheels are not inflatable so they will not deflate either, nor need to be maintained. It's ride is smooth as silk and it pulls together and goes into the trunk with ease. Very excited to have this! Every family should have one just in case it's needed!

The chair seat is too high for my mother; her feet do not reach the ground .How do I lower the seat height ? It needs to be 17 inches off the ground .The person on the manufacturer's 800 number had NJ no idea.Can anyone assist? I can not return the chair as it has been unboxed .

Have had this wheelchair for 5 weeks now and the left wheel lock has already broken off. The screw bent then just broke into two pieces. I am not able to remove the broken piece it is lodged in and won't budge. So I can't even replace just the screw. I have tried reaching the company and have left messages, will have to wait to see how many more days it takes for then to return my call. I have tried locating a replacement left lock. In the meantime the wheelchair is useless as we can't lock it in place and that is not safe for my mother who lives in a memory care facility.

This wheelchair was purchased for my mother who is short so having the option to adjust for her height was very important...she needed to be able to put her feet on the ground.

My husband has Parkinson's Disease, and we rely on this chair EVERY DAY! He says it is more comfortable than the one we had on loan from the medical supply company. it folds easily to put in the car, too.

Received today, as promised, undamaged. While this is a lightweight chair, it looks perfect for transporting as needed.We don't plan on using this full time, just when my wife needs to go places. Usually we stop at a restaurant, and the folding arms will make that an easy experience. The leg adjustments are easy and keeps her feet where they belong. Not sure if this is mentioned, but, the rear wheels come off to make the chair super easy to load in a car.
