Samba Shades Light-Weigh Unbreakable TR90 Frame Military Pilot Sunglasses

I have several pairs of sunglasses, but who can't use just one more. This is particularly true because I just lost a pair on vacation. As everyone knows, prices can range from $5 for the throw-away variety up to several hundred dollars for the high-end designer versions. My general requirements for sunglasses are:1. Do they protect my eyes from a broad spectrum of UV rays?2. Do they fit?3. Are they reasonably lightweight?4. Is the price reasonable compared to the quality?5. Do they look good?These sunglasses fall in the low mid-range in terms of pricing. The seller says that they do filter out the broad spectrum of UV rays, and they seem to do so. That is important! They fit me well, and the dimensions provided by the seller in the description are accurate. On reviewer says that the lenses are far too small (John Lennon-like), but that is not the case. They are exactly the dimensions indicated in the listing, which I believe is appropriate for all but the largest of faces. They are the lightest weight sunglasses that I have ever owned, coming in at 14 grams. By way of comparison, my cycling shades, that are very lightweight, are 28 grams. For you metric neophytes, one ounce is a tad over 28 grams, so these sunglasses weight approximately one-half of one ounce.The quality seems to be good, and the temples do screw into the hinge (but there is not another screw at the end piece, which is one piece integrated into the rim).Looks are in the eye of the beholder, but I think these blue aviators look good.As you can see in the attached photos, the glasses come with a microfiber cloth, a thank you card, a code for a 10% discount on future purchases, and a hard plastic case. The case is not fancy, but the hard plastic construction will provide adequate protection from damage. Finally, these sunglasses, like many items today, are made in China.I did receive these sunglasses at a discount in exchange for my honest review. I am very selective in making my purchases, which is why you will see that I really like most (but not all) of the items that I review. I purchased the Samba Shades Light-Weigh Unbreakable TR90 Frame Aviator Sunglasses to replace an old pair of sunglasses I had - my favorite glasses actually - a much more expensive pair of Bollé. Upon receiving these glasses I was quite impressed. They came well packaged in a nicely displayed box, a hard plastic case, microfiber cloth for cleaning and thank you card from the manufacture (pictures posted below).Pros: Durable. Extremely light weight. Not too wide or too small. Look awesome. Great lenses. Comfortable fit. Soft and comfortable nose pads which are easily flexed for a good, comfortable fit.Cons: The "Temple" or "Bow" on one side is curved whereas the other is straight so the glasses are cocked on one's face unless I press them down onto my face - I've tried to correct the bow to no avail.Overall: I do really enjoy these glasses but while wearing them I have to correct their positioning by pressing them down in the center on my nose to make them lay even on my face due the the bow being bent and not straight on one side. Mind you this could be just an issue with this specific pair of glasses and my not be the same for all of them.Disclaimer: I did receive this product at a discount for an honest and un-bias review of the product.

Those look good, maybe a bit too dark but very stylish. I really like the look and very light but they are very fragile and look like they will break anytime. Try to hang them on your shirt and they will fall- without u noticing it. Very bad - A week after I bought them they broke while I was walking !! Horrible ! I'm very very disappointed-

Nice frames that are practically identical to the Maui Jim equivalent. The bad side... the lenses have poor optics. Good for sunshine but when driving, the interior of the care looks "lower resolution" compared to other polarized sunglasses.If your expectations are right, you should not be disappointed with these.

They fell apart while wearing them. The just break for no reason where the nose piece meets the lens.

I love the shades, but they are too big, I wish I could have purchased a smaller size.

The lens keeps coming loose from the nose piece. Very frustrating to have it come loose. Not really sure if it supposed to give way so it wont break or if it is defective? Probably should have ordered other blue lens aviator.

I didn't think I'd like these seems I'm an Oakley fan.. however they soon won me over. These glasses are so light weight I hardly know that I'm wearing them. I'll definitely get another pair.
