Buy the 6 pack. They come in an OEM box. All arrived in perfect condition. Not a single one broken or not working. All worked perfectly. These are true black lights. So they're not bright per se with visible light but they make everything flourscent glow brightly.I do blacklight art and photography as a hobby. If you want a more compact version of flourscent blacklights these are a great way to go. 10/10 would highly recommend.a

As a true uv light should, it doesn’t emit much light at all. But anything that has phosphors in it, or is fluorescent, will react well to this and shine bright. If using for a black light/Halloween party, they won’t emit enough lighting to see, unless you have a lot of florescent in the room to light it up.

These worked great for our outdoor porch and patio lights, and as a spooky/gross addition to our guest bathroom during our Halloween party. All the neon, white, and glowy things luminesced spectacularly under these lamps. I was very impressed with the pricing and the bulb quality. I've taken them down and packed them up for use (hopefully) next halloween. Otherwise, we'll purchase from these makers again!

dont bother, get yourself an LED one instead. these things suck up ~20 watts, which is nearly ALL converted into heat. they hardly put out any light at all beyond a few feet away, and heat up to ~180 degrees in under 10 seconds. the worst, most inefficient CFL bulbs i have ever had the misfortune to encounter. was going to use these to replace a bunch of extremely low powered 10 watt incandescent "flood" lamps for accent lighting, and they barely illuminate the area directly below them on the floor.i dunno whats so hard about it. you just make a regular CFL bulb out of violet glass. they seem to have made the *worst* CFL bulb, and the glass is actually coated in some kind of UV filter instead of being actual UV glass.

Didn't expect these to be as dim as they were I even left them in for a little while to see if they needed to kind of warm up to get a little brighter but they did not

Worked great for a Halloween cemetery in our back bedroom. Two bulbs put in to replace the flood lights gave a wonderful erie blue glow so you could see the scene and lit up our florescent ghosts and leaves.We also have bar florescent lights which work well, but I didn't want to make holes in the walls to mount them, and from the floor they didn't give as good an effect as these did from the ceiling.

One was broken when received the item and all others weren't as bright as I hoped for
