Crack-Stix 125 Foot 1/2" Blacktop Crack Filler

I had to do some experimenting on this room caulk but once I got the hang of things the installation went quite well. Once the caulk melts it flows into the crack and adheres to both sides. Since this is some sort of elastic material it remains to be seen how well it lasts over the Summer-Autumn-Winter-Spring cycles without breaking free. So far, I would recommend the product but only time will tell how well it works.

This stuff does a nice job, even on larger cracks, but you need to fill the bottom of deep crack with sand to hold filler in place. A large propane torch works best.

The media could not be loaded. Good stuff, but difficult to master a technique.As blacktop pulls away from itself, the material will re-crack.It could be more elastic as every year I have to re-heat.A lower melting temperature would also benefit.

For me it works very well. Fills the cracks very well. Glad they have two sizes to choose from

I give the BLACK Crack-Stix a 5 star, but the GRAY colored stix are a 1. The gray stix doesn't melt and flow like the black. It bubbles and puddles and eventually turns "burnt". If you're filling cement cracks, buy the black and while it's hot and liquid spread play sand (fine sand) on it and it will match the sidewalk.

Product is exactly as advertised, great value and delivered in a timely manner. Haven't had the time to use it before winter set in. Will update when warmer weather arrives and get to use it properly.
