Better than original version
Glad to see that Bobrick changed the soap dispenser design from the original version. The first versions had the fake chrome inside the soap filler part that would disintegrate and clog the small rubber orifice and get clogged all the time. This new design did away with all that and is way easier to install. The battery compartment is the same so you can reuse if replacing it. The motor seems quieter also on the new model.

A failure at almost every level
Easily the worst single piece of equipment in the entire 13k sqft building we have. Nobody can figure out how to operate it. We literally had to make a sign showing where to put your hand and telling people to wait for the soap because it's so slow. If that wasn't bad enough, this thing is so difficult to refill it's actually funny. You are able to fill it from the top but the channel is so narrow that anything other than a slow trickle of soap will cause soap to spill everywhere. The artwork they show in the marketing material is so misleading it should be illegal. I've had customers ask if they can just bring their own soap in for events so people don't have to guess how to use it.

Form over Function
We have these in my office building's bathroom. They have poor ergonomics. It is very difficult to figure out how to activate the dispenser. It turns out that you must move your hands very close to the spout, much higher than I would ever expect or have experienced before. Once you figure it out, it's fine, but for days I thought the two in our bathroom were either broken or out of soap.

Bad design
This unit deserves a negative 5 star rating. Two units failed over the course of three years. Why would any engineer use a rust able pump rotor in a submersible pump!! Installation is a bear. Imagine trying to push up and hold up a collar to tighten a screw in the confined space under a sink. In short this is a badly designed, over priced piece of garbage.
