Can this be used to mount a small plastic plate to a shingle roof?

I would think so, I use this as an attachment system for security / ballistic film that is applied to glass and it’s frame. It is extremely durable and very difficult to remove. Once it is applied to any material it’s produces a very strong bond. Hope this helps. Maryland Tint Baltimore, Md
