Very lightweight plastic everything G.Simple. Easy to set up.Big buttons.Casio quality.I’ll probably get sick of it before it dies.I like the recessed glass that G watches design. It really helps them from getting scratched so easily.2 complaints.The rubber strap keeper loop thing. It slides over and the extra length of strap sticks out or gets caught on things. So I keep having to slide it over. I may actually glueIt in place.I’m used to metal clasp bands.Somehow I must be flexing my wrist and hitting the mode button for the dial. It doesn’t really change anything but it happensThe light only lights up the bottom.It’s super bright but for only the bottom of face. The entire face isnt equally illuminated. Works but basic.I wish the hands had a bit more contrast(brighter color) for a quick read.Darker hand on a camp /dark face take a tad longer to read.It’s cheap so it’ll last me forever. Ever since getting this watch a year ago it's been great unless you can effectively change or adjust the time. First time took me about 30 minutes to set the time as the instructions to do so did not work at first at took much finagling. No for the time change the line for time set will not align properly and holding down the adjustment button does nothing at all. No beep as it normally should allowing you to then adjust your time zone. Really hate this watch.

I got interested in G Shocks because of functionality- multiple time zones and stop watch etc. ; however I was not willing to wear a gigantic timepiece on my wrist.It’s a little thick, but actually fits within the confines of my wrist. It looks like a regular watch, just made of black plastic.There are analog hands for hours and minutes which makes it easy to read the time, but the other functions are digital and are displayed through a “negative display” which is a bit difficult to see in some lighting situations since the letters and numbers are not illuminated. But I think this is well known information now.Some gshocks adjust their time via radio control, and uses solar power ... both very convenient. This model uses batteries that will need to replaced at some point and you have to adjust for DST and standard time manually.It’s rugged, water resistant, and looks good.

The G-Shock Carbon Core Camo edition is absolutely perfect. Lightweight, ergonomic shape makes it feel like you aren't wearing a watch. Same extreme build quality you would expect from a G-Shock. Multiple time zones, customizable readable LCD......display date, day, time, stop watch. Easy to mute beeps if you like a quiet watch. The lume of the hands make it easy to see in the dark, but the light also comes in handy. I have owned many G-Shock, and this has quickly become my favorite. Don't hesitate to grab one, you wont regret it.
