Product not detected by phone AND does not look like an normal UP3
I received the device and followed the setup instructions. At no point did the device pair to my phone. I have owned 2 different UP3 bands in the past and never had issues with them.In addition, the band has the case of an UP4 band, and not the UP3 band.

Can't get this thing to work or sync!
I love these things but I've bought two and neither is being recognized by my phone app. Makes me sad and it's really difficult to actually speak with someone at Jawbone to troubleshoot. The band arrived on time and packaging was flawless. Just wish I could get it to work.

Not worth it
I'd like to enter no stars but not possible. It never would connect to my phone saying I needed internet connection. I always have a connection. The compant for jawbone is going under.

Take a pass - another poor quality Jawbone product with dismal customer care
I had a Jawbone Up24 & really liked it for the few months that it worked. Then it just stopped lighting up a few weeks after the warranty ran out. I was annoyed & decided to just go without a fitness tracker. Then a few weeks ago, I saw the Up3 & convinced myself that it would be different this time. So, I bought one. Day 1: I was able to connect it to the Android app & wore it all day. It fell off several times due to the weird clasp. I finally ended up taping it on (klassy) & found out this was a known issue & that they'd send me a free clip to hold it in place. Of course, when I tried to submit a request, the website kept giving "oops! 500 error". Day 2: it tracked my sleep but seemed like my steps were awfully low at 4300 after working at my busy job, then going on a 3 mile walk. Figured out a way to keep the strap together with a rubber band. Day 3: I noticed it didn't track my sleep, no heart rate monitor and after a long, busy day credited me with 142 steps. That was the last time it connected because after that, I started receiving an error message "Pairing rejected by Up3" Of course, there is zero support, no suggestions for what to do. I sent them an email and 4 days later, no response. I spent several hours trying to Google the problem, uninstall/reinstall the app, soft resets, etc. Nothing worked. I then tried to pair it with my tablet & it worked, but then showed me all this "history" for the days it had been in the box on my nightstand. How I managed to walk more steps when I wasn't even wearing it, and slept for 18 hours straight, I'll never know. It never tracked my sleep again & I came home today to see my stats since I have to use my tablet, & it was back to refusing to pair. I just packed it up to return. I'm done with Jawbone. They have a neat product in theory but the quality of the tracker is low, the support is awful and it's just not worth it. Meanwhile my husband has enjoyed uninterrupted use of his inexpensive FitBit 3 yrs & counting
