Sesame Street: 12 Board Books

These small books are nice for toddlers to hold and to look at on their own. However, they aren't really stories. The text is simple. (I elaborate on them when reading aloud.) The illustrations are colorful and engaging for little ones who enjoy Sesame Street.. The cardboard storage box is adorable and it has a magnetic closure and child size plastic handle.

My 1.5 year old loves this set! She likes the size of the books and enjoys “reading” them all by herself. Taking the books in and out of the box and stacking them into towers keeps her occupied as well. The books are sturdy and have held up well so far.

Very cute. 12 little board books about simple things featuring one of the sesame characters. The books fit inside their box, which turns out to be a little suitcase. It even works as a little puzzle because they're a tad hard to put away. It's worth it, though, because it has a little handle that fits into the hand of a two year old just right. The little books and their suitcase really captured the attention of my two year old grandson, both for quiet manipulations or a quick story time from a nearby adult, depending on his mood and the moment.

I first bought this book set for my granddaughter when she was about 1-2 years old. She loved it. But I have to say, these little books went beyond little toddler age. I kept them, and as she grew older, she loved them all over again when she was able to actually read them herself. I have since purchased this book set many times for ‘bring a book’ to baby showers. Highly recommend.

12 fun board book for any child who loves Sesame Street! Size- I love mini board books because we can bring them anywhere with us. We bought this for our daughter when she was 1 year and 3 months old. She loved the books and the little box/case it came in. Durability: The case is a simple cardboard box. She literally destroyed it in one week. The books are a bit more durable. We’ve had this set for over a year and for MOST of the books the binding is still intact. This is impressive because she’s used them a LOT. Concepts in the books: We have MULTIPLE mini board books and I would say content wise this is just average. Mini board books are great for 1 year old and at this age I find that books with very few words (1-2) and pictures work the best. Some pages are more wordy and the concept just gets blurred out. My daughter is now two and does not grab these books as much. She prefers stories with a beginning, middle, and end. Overall: I think this is a great set for a 1 year old, especially if they like sesame street. They will love finding the characters and even if they don’t get all the concepts they will like holding it in their hand and flipping it. Lastly my 7 month old loves to eat these books.. They seem to be delicious and great for teething.

Fantastic quality, durable

These books are tiny, but that is what I liked about them. They are perfect for my 1.5 year old. He loves to carry them around and look at pictures and point to Elmo. They are easy for him to hold and getting 12 of them makes it easy to keep them in the car, in my purse, at grandma's etc. Maybe not great for an older child who has the patience to sit and listen to a story, or who is learning to read, but great for the little guys.

We just bought these Sesame Street ones and also the DIsney Pixar ones for our 16 month old daughter to put in her Easter basket. I think they are absolutely adorable and are definitely worth the very low price! I haven't opened them yet, but they seem like the perfect size for small hands, and the carrying case is great. Our daughter loves books, and loves Sesame Street! Now all they need is to make a Yo Gabba Gabba set and I'd be stoked! They are def a very cute gift idea as well. Perfect for book fans, and Sesame Street fans!! Highly recommend.. Now lets just see if they hold together after our daughter gets ahold of them! Haha

Bought as a gift and would do it again. The books are perfect for younger kids and the board pages are easy for little fingers to turn. The fact that they come in their own carry case is a bonus!
