Over designed
I couldn't use this for more than a minute, because it would not allow me to utilize the belt mechanism. The overdesign of self-levelling guides prevented more than superficial use of the tool.

Good quality sander
Operated grate much lighter than my old Skil full metal body sander. I hope it will last 20 years as it did. I do like the design ez to grip and liked dust collector my old tool did not have this . Overall a good quality sander

dust collector doesn't work
good performance. powerful and has burned out after heavy use. Only complaint is the dust collector has completely stopped working after a few months.

Love it, auto centering, such a nice feeling to not have to mess with the belt all the time.If it is drifting, just pause work a moment and let the belt auto center.Instead of paying with some dial or bolt everyminute and for eternity.Had my last one for tem years.This one should last that long.

Super great tool
I am shocked with how well this does. I've been working on a door for 2 hours the belt hasn't slipped hasn't broken and is doing a fantastic job. It works just as good as some $200 belt Sanders I had in the past. I definitely endorse this product

Every bit as good as my 30 year old Makita, only FAR cheaper.
I bought this to replace my old Makita which was finally worn out after 30 years. This sander performs identical to the way the Makita did when it was new.

Love this sander.
I tried a few different belt sanders and I found this one. For the price you can’t beat it, works perfectly. I returned a Milwaukee M18 because it was so heavy and bulky. I’m all about cordless, but this is worth the sacrifice! It’s light, the pressure sensor is a great feature, and the belt stays on just where you need it to. dusk collection works well.

Performs well for the money; though, the dust filter is somewhat inadequate.
Performs well for the money. Gave only 4 stars because I agree with others that the dust filter is a bit of a pain to clean, and it tends to clog after which it doesn't take in the sawdust very well. Still, I'm happy with it overall.
