TDS EC meter didn't even turn on, opened the battery compartment to find one battery split open, replaced that no issues, i assume it works properly although I highly doubt it's accurate at all because the pH meter is a joke so assume this is the same garbage.The pH meter is absolutely useless. I bought some over-priced distilled water just to calibrate this thing and did it all correctly, specifically in the order on the instructions. 250ml distilled water at 25c, turn on the meter and place it in the 6.86 solution first, it seemed accurate enough at this point as it read 6.84 so held the temp/cal for 5 seconds as directed, the number flashed like it said it would and everything seemed ok...rinsed the electrode and dried, placed it in the 4.0 ph solution and it read 6.8x again, rinsed it and dried and re-stuck it in the 4.0 but still 6.8x, I held the temp/cal button for 5 seconds thinking maybe it would automatically switch that to 4.0 as it's the 2nd step in calibration but it didnt, it kept reading between 6.8 and 6.86.Rinsed and stuck it in the 9.18 ph solution and 6.82 was displayed on the meter.I then rinsed it and stuck it in vinegar and 6.84 was shown, bleach came back as 6.86...This thing simply doesn't work and is a cheap imitation piece of rubbish, I wish there were serious consequences for sellers selling items that are clearly below even entry grade level.

Does not work, can't calibrate and is a waste of money do not buy!

At this price I'm extremely happy with the product. More responsive and easy to calibrate than blue ph testers I have paid over £70 for in the past.
