Good protection
Never tested for waterproof, but this is my third one (new iPod touch 7). The old ones have well protected two 6th version and the lens covers still takes clear pictures after 2 years. Too bad the iPod batteries don't hold up that well.

It is good the rubber plug for the headphone & charger has a retainer in the middle of it but it came out the first day when just unplugging it to put the charger in.

Great Investment
This is a necessity if you want to protect your IPod. Like that it's also waterproof and easy to install. A good investment.

Still a good sound case.
The opening for the charging cord is to small for most after market lightning adapters.
