CarharttMen's Relaxed Fit Duck Blanket-Lined Detroit Jacket

I’m 5”9 185LBS,⬅️ (we listen and we don’t judge) originally ordered a Large. Received it, tried it on and it was HUGE! Sleeves were extremely long, the body of the jacket was super baggy, even with a sweatshirt on I still looked like a 5 year old trying on Grandpas suit jacket.I returned the Large, ordered a Medium and it fit perfect! (That’s what she said) Also fits nicely with a sweatshirt on. Certainly not the warmest jacket but does the job on those 50 degree days. Beats going back to your Ex to keep you warm on those chilly days.The zipper is a bit annoying to operate but that seems to be a thing with Carhartt jackets. Being that I own a few, they all have that same issue. Still it’s no where near as annoying as your boss saying “Good morning” on a Monday morning, before coffee.I really like the tan color of the jacket but just know, it’s not a perfect match to the Timberland tan, the jacket is a bit darker. So, if you’re looking for a jacket to perfectly match your Tim’s, this isn’t it unfortunately. But Damn does it still look nice when paired with the boots! Play on, playa! 😂Overall quality of the jacket is really nice, built to last long than your last relationship!

I bought this as a gift for my husband and he has been wearing it ever since! It is incredibly warm and looks fantastic on! This jacket is well worth the cost and seems to be great quality that will last him for years to come. The wash ability of this jacket is easy. I put it in the washer and gang to dry. I love that he can add a hood later if he chooses but that’s why he wanted this one specifically. His old jacket has a hood that’s very big and bulky so this one suits his likes much better. Great functionality as it can be dressed up or down!

You can never go wrong with a carhart.Best quality they always fit true to size. You get warmth, rain proof and comfort. Sure you can find coats that look the same and may even cost less but nothing compares to a carhart! They are indestructible. The only reason I purchased this one wasI was tired of seeing my husband in the same coat for twenty years. Literally...LOL

Go true to size if you want it to be tailored, if you want to use a hoodie underneath you should definitely go up in size. I don't like slim fit, I usually wear regular, and this fita like a regular size. It's a heavy, very well made jacket. It's warm, but you could use it with a little bit of sun. It's not as crop and boxy as the vintage one, and don't have the patina, but the quality it's there, and you could make the patina yourself saving money on the process.

Excellent jacket, very warm and fits well. There are a good amount of pockets to carry the basics. The outer material is tough and will definitely last and the inner ‘blanket’ material is softer than it used to be. The only gripes I have are that they aren’t made in the US anymore and the little strap that you would use to hang the jacket on a hook sits right at the back of your neck and the material used is a bit scratchy. Overall, it’s a great value!

Great quality you would expect from Carhartt.I really appreciate the additional shoulder room for better maneuverability.It’s warm enough for my liking (I am a fan of cold weather personally) however for truly frigid days I’d probably layer up with a hoodie underneath and it has the room to spare for that.The zipper takes some getting used to getting it started as the material does cover the piece that slips info the zipper connector but I’d imagine that will get easier over time.Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend this jacket to anyone looking for a sturdy and comfortable work jacket that will last at a good value.

Fit true to size for my husband. He said it was a little stiff at first, but after a few months of wearing it, it's breaking in nicely, and the quality feels like it will last a long time.

Best jacket I've ever had. Jacket arrived as expected. The only thing that maybe I'd put it as a comment is the fact that the sleeves are two long.
