This fixed our broken storm door quickly and was super easy to install. All the parts were included plus a few extra left over, a real value that beats a new door. It's sturdy, and locks solidly and quietly, without slamming so fast you catch your heel (we've all done that one!). You might need to drill new holes, but that's not a big deal.

I'm on my third one of these. I'm glad they're pretty inexpensive. The first one was old, and got taken out by a wind storm. I was letting my dogs out, and the wind managed to rip the door out of my hands. I would have lost the door if not for this thing. It ripped the bar out of the cylinder. The second one broke because my new dog wouldn't stop slamming out the door to chase rabbits. I didn't manage to train it out of him fast enough to save the poor thing. He ripped the metal fastener that secured it to the door frame in half. This newest one is holding up well. We haven't had any crazy wind storms, and my dog has been trained to wait for me to open the door before charging, so I'm hopeful that I won't need another. Only time will tell.

Mixed feelings about this .. thing does close well .. well so fast it slams my screen door on my heals / closes hard. But you can get used to that.. but the stroke is short so it barely opens less than 90 degrees

I bought two of these and both failed within a couple months. They are less expensive than the ones I bought at Lowes, and a slightly different model number, but the two I bought at Lowes are working just fine. I can't imagine these could be knockoff's but would not be surprised.

The company gives you the information you need to choose the correct opener for your door. It was not difficult to install, and it was easy to use. We had some trouble with the canister, but the company has fantastic customer service and sent us the replacement we needed with no argument. Dealing with an American Company that stands behind its products is very important to me, as I think it is to most of us these days.

Works well and quite light spring but strong enough for double hight door

It slams the door at the end moment. when the door is 4-5 inches away from the frame. I tried adjusting its distance, but it start doing the same after 6-7 closures at any distance. The whole purpose of buying this was to ensure that the door closes silently. I can't fit the one on the top of the door considering my door is little Wobbly from the top, hence adding pressure that point will worsen the frame.

At first the closer looked too small for my storm door however it works well. .A screwdriver and drill may be needed if holes from the old door closer do not line up. Had to drill one new hole and every thing went smooth. A good company and good product.
