Yes sturdy and it probably won't beak, but....
I purchased these for my RX350 because it's so small, I figured it could help me with those plastic shopping bag items. I had another brand prior that I loved, but it broke due to being cheap and thin. Yes, these are very thick and sturdy. Though the reason I'm disappointed is because the hook itself seems hard to use. It sticks straight out without bending like a normal hook does and it doesn't stick out very far once the headrest is holding it down in place. With a 2 door car and a seat that is hard to flip forward, it's hard to feel around and find it behind the seat to get items to hang from it. Maybe it's better suited for a car with 4 doors so you can see the hook because it really doesn't stick out that far at all. For now I'm still getting use to the small hook that sticks straight out from the headrest only a tiny bit. PS: It is to small for items such as a purse with a shoulder strap. The strap is to wide and it falls right off. I've tried it. OH PSS: Also it's very thick and the headrest doesn't go all the way down. That renders the headrest useless to me because I'm only 5' and that inch makes a difference in height. I hope this helps in your decision for your purchase.

Who would think Buick headrests were not standard?
I bought this pair to use on multiple vehicles. Make sure you raise your headrest before buying! Mazda's headrest was standard and installation was easy. However, The Buick Envision Headrests are NOT standard, and the unit could NOT be installed on the Buick. The headrest rods curve forward immediately after coming out of the top of the seat back, then curve upward again. The way the headrest travels on the rods (vs. the rods moving with the headrest) makes the unit uninstallable in this vehicle.

Too loose
I thought I would like these much better. They are very loose on the headrest bars, and if you're not using them to hold something, they spin around. I use one to hang a hat on behind the seat in the truck, and since it's loose, it moves around and the hat falls off (baseball cap). I suppose if your headrest bars are thick, these might be better for your use, but for me, I won't buy another set.

Surprisingly handy
I love these. I didn't think I would use them as much as I have but, in addition to my purse, they have come in handy for groceries, dog leashes, sweaters and even a wet pool towel. The only problem is that there must be enough space between the headrest and the seat to snap them in place. I only have them on the passenger seat because my driver's headrest is too low.

Doesn't work for my cars
These are sturdy, and seem like a good idea, but they don't work well for me. I want them to hang on the back of my headrest pole and stay there. But they fall off even though I have the headrest right on top of it. It isn't a convenience factor if you have to look for them, put them on, then hang your bag. Turns into a useless thing rolling around in your car. I have them in a GMC Yukon. I also bought a second set to put in my Honda Pilot, and the headrests don't lift at all, so couldn't even try them in there.

Noise-free purse holder!!!
I purchased these headrest hangers for my mom, who loves to put her purse under the legs of whomever is sitting in the passenger seat. Yea, not so cool, Mom!!! I'm a growing boy--I need room! I saw these guys, and thought they were perfect. I love the silicone material that fits around the headrest post. You see, other products are metal. And what happens when you hit a bumpy road with a metal hanger on a metal headrest post? Clanking noises!! Well, those noises are almost as bad as a purse under your legs on a two-hour drive! So, without a doubt, if you're looking for a purse holder for your car, buy these!!!

Great for purses
I was sick of having my purse slide off the seat when I turned and stopped so I bought these. I love that they come in pairs, one for each seat. I always have a place for my purse. The only negative is they aren't quite long enough for true convenience, I sometimes have to struggle to get my purse hung up.

Comes apart after a couple of times of use
I loved the idea of these hooks, but they unfortunately come apart after you hang something from them. They are made up of three pieces that come together, instead of one solid piece.

Functional car hooks
These work well in my Mazda 5. Great for organizing baby things, and keeping bags and jackets off the floor. I don't have a problem with them coming off in my vehicle.

Headrest/purse hanger
I find this very useful. I just wish the part that hooks around the headrest post fit a little tighter.

exactly as advertised
exactly as shown. Very sturdy. The product keeps my purse off the floor of the car. now if I stop fast my purse does not hit the floor and empty itself all over the floor. I gave one to my sister and kept one for myself. We both love the product.

Perfect for me
LOVE this product! I was so tired of my purse falling off the seat or not having anywhere to put it when I had passengers. This hook is strong, keeps my purse upright and gives my passengers more floor room. Perfect product for me.

They work great! Now my purse is handy to reach instead ...
They work great! Now my purse is handy to reach instead of being on the floor in the back seat.
