Delta Faucet 5-Spray In2ition 2-in-1 Dual Hand Held Shower Head with Hose, Venetian Bronze 58045-RB

Installed the head without difficulty, attached the hose to the head and the handle, put the handle into the head position, and because of the weight and unrelenting curl of the hose, the handle falls out of the head without any effort at all. Totally useless, un-installed it, boxed it back up without ever running water thru it. What a terrible design, two tiny plastic "teeth" in the head try to grip two tiny flanges on the handle, and it just doesnt work. I am so sorry I didn't read the reviews before I purchased this. Delta should be ashamed. Interstingly, the instructions revealed two other models of nearly the same design that lock into place by inserting and pulling down.Purchased thru Amazon, fullfilled by DealYard, contact Customer Service, they informed me thabecause I had taken the unit out of the package and installed it, I could not return it. According to their return policy, the merchandise must be in the original mfg. sealed pacakging. OK i don't know that, and would never have been able to find out how crippled the unit was until I took it out of the packaging. They gave me Deleta's 800# and said I had to take it up with them. DealYard will not be getting any more of my business. I'll pay the extra few bucks and by from Lowes or Home Depot in the future.I called Delta, and explained my dilema, that the unit was poorly designed/faulty, and that DealYard would not take the unsed unit back. The CSR took my information, put me on hold for a minute, and came back on the line in less than a moinute, to tell me that "they had identifed problems in the older units", and that they would send out a replacement to me. We'll see once it arrives if they have in fact fixed the design flaw. "Stay tuned, film at eleven."Update: The replacement unit arrived from Delta today via FedEx three days after talking with them, and it works! The previous version was defective, this one has the same handle but locks into place with a loud click. You have to be sure and push it all the way, with a bit of force. I let the hose hang out before insatlling it and it seems to have helped to get rid of the curl the hose inherits from packing.A satisfied customer (no thanks to DealYard) Thanks Delta!

I read the reviews on this product some good some bad and decided to take the risk as I could not find anoother shower head in my price range that had a large head with a detachable arm. The first time I showerd with this new showerhead I literally did not want to leave my shower. Honestly this shower head is great- we had a plumber install to ensure that we did not break any pieces (as I noted other reviewers having issues with parts breaking), the plumber had no issues at all. He showed us how to use the different settings- you can have a full large spray- a medium spray or just the hand held. I prefer the large spray. I must note that prior to switiching the shower head we were using a moen shower head which was an average size however we never received much water pressure, this showerhead nearly tripled the water pressure being received. I also purchased this shower head for another bathroom in my house which always had great water pressure and the pressure is the same for both shower heads so i'm happy!I have not had any issues detaching or re-attaching the removable shower head- but it's only been a day- perhaps its a wear and tear thing that others are complaining about?ok as to the apperance the shower head itself is ok looking no complaints there (it is as prictured) the 'silver' cord which the removable shower head is attached too leaves alot to be desired but it's not so bad that I would return the product. I know some poeple thought it looked like plastic but I don't think you can tell by looking at it, its when you touch it that its noticeable. Of course i read the reviews before purchasing so I knew of the complaint, however when my sister came to visit she remarked on how nice the showerhead looked and made no mention of the cord- honestly I would recommend if your not looking to spend alot on a showerhead but you want a luxurious feeling showerhead.

This is a bit of a love/hate review. I love the product, except that part of the unit is made of plastic. But overall, it does seem to be a great unit with nice spray options along with the detachable hand shower unit.My main reason for giving this 4 stars instead of 5 was that the hose attachment to the main shower head Broke Off. It didn't just come unscrewed, it broke off. This occurred the 2nd time I switched the unit to the Hand-Shower part. I had the product installed for about 3 weeks when this happened. I put some Pipe Thread Sealant on the threads when attaching the unit. Not sure if that had anything to do with the breakage, but I'm going to use thread tape the next time to see if that makes a difference.To Deltas' credit, their customer service was first rate. I prepared myself for a battle, as nowadays that's exactly what you have to do when calling a manufacturer about a quality defect in one of their products. Pleasantly that was unnecessary. The woman I spoke to was non-confrontational, and very helpful. I gave her my info, the product information and what happened, and they're shipping me out a replacement for the broken unit; sans any hassle. Didn't think that existed anymore. If I could I'd give this 41/2 stars, but since that's not possible, it gets 4, as I had to mark something off since the unit did break. One last note, the unit still works, I just have to do without using the handheld portion and just keep it switched to the "Shower Head" only position. I'll keep it like that until the new unit arrives. If anything changes, or there are problems with the replacement unit, I'll update my review.

Great shower head; family loves it. Easy to install; no issues at all in fact with my current setup it was easier than instructions pictured. One small downfall was the cord for the detachable head was quite stiff and did not unravel well. Eventually over time maybe it will be less constrictive in its movement. Good length on the cord nonetheless! Very happy with this purchase!

Shower water volume/pressure was adequate. Water restrictor is fixed and cannot be removed. You may want to consider another shower head if your water pressure is low. Valve connection to the shower pipe is all metal, not plastic as on cheaper models. The flexible hose appears to be metal but is made entirely of plastic. It is very stiff. Pushbutton in the removable shower head will reduce the water flow to a trickle while lathering to conserve water if desired. Both the fixed head and removable shower head are made of plastic.

Been waiting for the exact same model to go on sale at home depot for months but it never did and since I needed a new one badly I went ahead and purchased this one. It's worth the price and I haven't enjoyed taking a shower until I got this one. It's like a rainfall. The head pivots. The detachable shower head is just what I need and the pause function is great and works well. Durable and light.

This was a quick and easy install. Overall it maybe took 10 minutes to take off the old shower head, put this one together and install it. During that time I also removed the flow restrictor which was an easy job by simply unscrewing the swivel connection and popping out the flow restrictor from behind (There are a lot of little spray nozzles on the two shower heads and I wanted to make sure I would get enough water flow to supply them all adequately). One thing I should note is that this shower head assembly is almost completely plastic, even the part that screws onto the water supply pipe. That being said, I've had other Moen and Delta fixtures in the past that were plastic and after 6-7 years of use I never had any issues with them. The one part I am concerned about with this shower head is how the hand-held shower connects to the main shower head. There are two little spring clips on either side of the hole that hold the hand-held shower head in place. I'm worried that these could fail after a year or two of taking the hand-held shower head on and off the main shower head. There is also a button on the hand-held shower head that I believe is supposed to temporarily reduce or stop the flow of water (to save water while you shampoo your hair I guess). I found this button to be a bit finicky and had to press it a few times to get it to engage and disengage, however, this isn't a big deal to me since I am unlikely to use it. Finally I am a bit annoyed with the price of this unit. You can find other Delta In2ition units at Home Depot for much less money, but those are chrome, this one being bronze seems to drive the price up. Crazy considered it's just painted plastic.

This item checked out well on both reviewmeta and fakespot so I bought it. The showerhead is great, the nozzle as well. The installation took no time but issues have started to come out. The showerhead has a bit of a whine to it after 3 days and the handheld nozzle causes the chrome like plastic top of the showerhead to pop off and requires someone to push it back in. It will clip back but isn't secure.
