Deadwood, Dakota Territory, is largely the abode of men, where CalamityJane is as hard-riding, boastful, and handy with a gun as any. Doris Day plays the famous cowgirl in this musical extravaganza about the legendary female sharpshooter and her up-and-down romance with Wild Bill Hickock. Review: Very Funny Film! - This used to be one of my favourite films, and I wanted to watch it again. It arrived on time, in mint condition, and was very reasonably priced. I watched it, then handed it on to a charity shop. I recommend this item and its seller. Thanks! Childhood Memory
In my childhood I was introduced to musicals by my mum and this musical was a firm favourite as a child; as I found Calamity Jane a kindred spirit as I was a 'tom-boy' and loved nothing more than being dressed with jeans and my friends were more boys than girls... But I 'secretly' loved how Calamity Jane was given the make-over and looked so gorgeous in her dresses. And I adored the song 'Secret Love' - well actually I loved all the songs in this musical. It might not be the most accurate or be considered a film that is for the intellectual but it is so much fun. My granddaughter is getting old enough to enjoy this musical and I hope she will love it just as much as I do

SUPERBE.
Nostalgie...
