Finally! Wow!
I had heard and read a lot about Audio Technica’s sound quality and precision but didn’t own them until now. I can’t quite comprehend how many good things I have to say about them. Let’s start! The ear cups size and material are perfect for wearing for hours together (and I’ve big ears and a big head). The battery lasts long enough to not have to worry about it. The sound quality is just out of the world, the details and natural tones of the music are stunning to my ears. The bass is very neutral and I like it after having used Beats. It almost sets a sound stage for you to appreciate the background vocals/instruments and hear the song the way it was actually recorded. I’ve had much higher priced Bose headphones and these have a much better sound quality. The controls are totally usable and you honestly get used to the multifunction button, my tip is that you read the instruction manual before tossing it away to make your experience better. The build quality in my view seems totally acceptable. The plastic isn’t so fragile that it’d crack (*cough, like Beats of past years, cough* :P), it’s flexible and lightweight which makes it great to leave on your head/ear for hours. I really don’t think they’re gonna crack or fall apart soon. As for the volume, the headphones volume and the volume on the iPhone are independent of each other. So you wanna make sure you crank up your phone come to the max and then control the volume from the headphones. Just make sure you read the manual on the multifunction button before getting all cranky about it, other than that these are gold at about $100!! Buy them and enjoy your music.

Heck yeah!
Alright! Got these over ear baddies for myself because I got the stupid iPhone without a headphone jack, and new I had to finally face the music (hah). I used to work in a headphone store and knew that Beats were overrated, and only sufficient for the bass (and even then, the Sennheiser Urbanites blew that sound out of the WATER when it came to bass), and often pointed folks to the ATH M50x’s when they wanted a crisp sound for a reasonable price point. With this in mind, I did some research on AT’s wireless sets. What drew me to these headphones was the consistent review in cleanliness of sound— and I’d highly agree. The mids and highs in these cans are tight and full, with bright sounds and an impressive depth. The only thing I wish would have a little more punch is the bass! It’s round and full, just quieter than I expected, which is why I’m only giving four stars. As for range, it’s pretty good! I was able to leave my phone in my room and move about my apartment without any disconnection or breaks. The Bluetooth turns off the second you plug in the cable (another must for me when it came to wireless headphones), and the sound is pretty consistent (of course, with the wire, it’s always going to sound just a little bit better— but that’s my opinion). These headphones are also wicked lightweight. They don’t fold in the middle but the cups do turn so they can lay flat against your collar when you’re not listening.Overall— I’m super stoked for these headphones and am so pleased with the sound quality.

This is the best of four products I have tried over the last few months. Short battery life i the only shortcoming. Though advertised as 6 hours, I usually get 8, but that's much less than the industry average. The sound is outstanding, with plenty of base, but not thumping (like Beats, for instance).Over my many decades of listening, Audio Technica consistently gives the best sound. The Ath-m50X I've had for years is the still the best headset I've ever owned, and I've also owned Bose. I sought to escape the chord while retaining all the great audio of the m50x. In brief, I'm pleased.with the ATH-S700BT. The sound is great...not as great as the m50x, but measurably better than the other 3 listed below. They are light, comfortable. I wish the batteries were longer lived, but I can manage, given how good they sound. My issues with the others I tried:Linkwitz Active Noise Cancelling Bluetooth...Tight headband, and an unusual, periodic cycling sound in the background. Very annoying. Modest sound quality did not justify the price of this headset.Sony XB950N1 Extra Bass Wireless Noise...Good sound, plenty of base (which can be adjusted upward for those who really like the deep end)...but it's hard to wear. These are far too heavy and bulky for my skull. The noise cancellation is essentially useless, and I'm concerned about the plastic joints.Bose on-ear wireless headphones.Very good sound, but all 3 Audio Technica products I own have more full sound, particularly on the low end. I liked the long battery life, but they are fragile. There is a plastic basket inside the ear cushions that keeps them from touching the diaphragm of the speaker. These collapsed after a 3 months of use. I'm sure the next design will incorporate something more durable.
