Although this product is somewhat flimsy and the clamp doesn't hold winder securely, still, I LOVE this thing!!! I absolutely hate folding and hanging binding and have been wishing for something like this for a long time. It was advertised as coming with an additional roller but mine did not, but no additional roller is necessary. The roll of fabric pulls off the roller easily IF you take care to grab all the way down to the roller when pulling the roll to remove it. Since the table clamp does not hold the winder securely, I will mount it on a piece of 2x4 or figure out some other way of securing it as having it moving around makes winding difficult. It will wind strips up to 3 1/2" wide (folded).

I like the wonder but the clamps to hold it to a table are not well-designed. I had to buy other clamps to hold it in place.

It does work great. After reading previous reviews about how it was unstable when attached to the ironing board, I asked my husband to mount it on a board. The additional weigh stabilized it and I have had no issues with it. I place the board on the floor next to my sewing machine when attaching the binding to the quilt and it rolls off quite nicely. I have enjoyed using it and have even purchased one as a gift. I would definitely buy it again.

OMGoodness...where has this been all my life!!! No more fighting with twisting binding while trying to wrap it up! So easy to use! My only caveat is that I wish the "c-clamp" was either made of stronger plastic or metal. It isn't quite as "steady" when clamped onto the ironing board as I would wish. I'm actually trying to figure out a way to attach it to something that has a wood base and a metal clamp to make it sturdier that way. Other than that, the product is GENIUS!!

The winder allows you to neatly press and store your quilt bindings. It's fantastic for un rolling it while using a quilt binding sewing machine attachment. I use it all the time.

Wife loves this thing. I hear less complaining from the sewing room. So glad I bought it for her.

While the idea for this is great, the execution was poor. The clamp does NOT hold the winding apparatus onto the ironing board or any other surface, for that matter. I had to hold it with one hand and wind with the other. It is very cheaply made and I think for the price of $20 the manufacturer could have spent less money on the packaging and more on making a better clamp.

Works great but had to use something else to hold it down.
