Great build quality, good cut
I got this to replace my old Bosch lawn mower. It was easy to assemble with minimum effort needed. Build quality is great and it seems much more solid than the Bosch mowers I have owned in the past. What I really like is that it is really easy to store with the handle collapsing and folding very easily, on my old mower it always felt more like I dismantling it than storing it.Battery life seemed good, I ran it on 2x 5.0mAh batteries. Admittedly my lawn is not too big but the batteries easily lasted. In use it felt good and was easy to push and felt smooth. The finish was good, and the lawn looked good when I had finished.Overall I am very happy with this and would happily recommend it.

Great mower
I was a little sceptical on this product when I initially decided to buy it…could not see that a drill battery would be enough to mow the lawn. But it’s been fantastic. The double battery and intelligent power boost is great, gets through long grass with no issues and provides a great quality cut. Using a 4Ah battery with backup 2Ah in the second slot and have not run low on power yet.The mower likes to be started with the blade off the lawn to get up to speed (i.e tilted backwards). But once going it is really powerful.Easy to manage in use and light to push, a little difficult to carry as the handle is not in a great place (balance wise), but not a huge issue.Good quality build. Really pleased so far.

Long battery life
Bought to replace a Ryobi mower that had decided that charged batteries, weren’t.Easy to assemble and cuts just as well as its predecessor, but is a little quieter. The height adjuster is not as easy to use as the machine it replaced but it is manageable. When you start it, there is a disconcerting split second hesitation before it runs. With 2 batteries on board it is, if anything, slightly more long lasting than before. Runs for 40 to 45 mins and does a good job. Plenty of room in the grass box and it fills it up.

Very good purchase for a medium-sized lawn
Considering the rather mixed reviews I have read, I've deliberately waited a few months to review this item but have been cutting two lawns (60msq in total) regularly with it using 2 x4mha batteries and am pleased with the results over that time (maybe 8 or 10 cuts). I keep the grass fairly short (cut ever 2 weeks or so) so I can't comment on how it would perform if I let it get long and only cut once a month or so. But it does the job well and the absence of a trailing lead makes a huge difference (more than I would have thought - shaving about a third of the time off cutting the lawns). Lots of battery left after cutting both lawns each time. It is heavy compared to my previous flymo but this is a minor niggle. I already had a couple of One+ appliances but hesitated because of the mixed reviews before committing. I'm glad I did and I'd recommend this on the basis of 4 months constant use.

Good light weight little mower
Bought this with a couple of other Ryobi One tools and have a total of 4 batteries. All working well so far. This mower is easy to use, with two batteries has a decent amount of power. It is light weight easy to lift in and out of the car if required

Give it a go
Never in a month of Sundays did I think a battery powered mower would be any good. Turns out I was wrong. It comes at a cost though. The mower is the dogs whatsits regarding the build quality adjustable blade height and the handles slide up and down very easily. The collection bag/box thingy for the clippings is robust and fits well. Make sure you remove the piece of plastic in the mower or the clippings cannot get into the basket/bag/box. One of the advantages I found was the comb thing that is built in between the wheels, this forces the grass the wheels have just driven over into the cutting blades so when you do the edge of the boarder just keep your wheels on the grass and you don't have to perform some sort of trick that gets the machine on two wheels.I use two four hour batteries and it works a treat. Lawn is about 20 metres by 5 in new money. The bigger the battery the more power you get ( don't believe me look on u tube ). Uses about two bars on one battery. Plenty of room in the clippings container. When its full the little flap on top drops down and the motor sound changes.I am not receiving anything from anywhere for this review, I just like the mower and the concept of interchangeable tools . Having said that if some kind soul would like to send me a little something I would not affend them by turning it down....

Good, but with reservations
Lightweight, easy to use, easy to start, no messing with petrol, and none of the restrictions of a corded machine.But...This mower struggles in wet conditions. It cuts out in long grass. The size of lawn it covers depends on your battery size. I use 2 X 4Ah batteries which is adequate for 80m**2. The biggest drawback is that, unlike petrol mowers, when it breaks nobody can fix it. You just throw it away! On my second Ryobi now. I would have liked to change manufacturers when my last Ryobi gave up, but the expensive proprietary batteries tie you in to Ryobi.
